Multiple interesting news emerged recently about Natus Vincere, more specifically about s1mple and ex NAVI member Boombl4. While s1mple released his first rap song, Boombl4 is travelling abroad. What exactly he’s doing there isn’t entirely clear, but fans believe he wants to join a new team.

NAVI superstar Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has released a hip-hop song along with his brother Alexey, who works as the club’s creative director. The composition named “Kиберспорт” (in English “Esports”) is available on most platforms, including Spotify, Apple and YouTube.

S1mple tries his hand in music scene

It’s not clear exactly which part of the new track is s1mple’s rapping. Apparently, the sniper’s vocals are used in the chorus while his brother does the other parts, but it’s not very clear.

The lyrics is in a rowdy hip-hop style, with braggart phrases like “I’m the guy you don’t understand why he’s so lucky” or “We’ll grab the money and not bother to count”. The lyrics is reportedly from real life and inspired by s1mple’s esports experiences.

Kybersport s1mple

Rapping s1mple doesn’t come as a huge surprise, as there is already a music video with him and he’s also known to have connections with Russian-speaking rappers. He made a surprising gesture during his visit to Barcelona, where he met rapper Oleg “Kizaru” Nechiporenko and presented him with the Medal of HLTV’s Best Player of the Year 2021.

What’s next for Boombl4?

Recetly, former NAVI captain Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov has hinted that he may join a non-Russian-speaking team. He posted a cryptic message on Telegram, explaining that he was thinking of “flying abroad to create something very interesting”.

Coincidentally, G2 Esports captain Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen announced that he was looking at options outside of the lineup just a day prior to Boombl4’s post. As a result, Boombl4’s fans thought he was going to Europe to replace him.

Boombl4 travelling 2022

Boombl4 left Natus Vincere not long ago after the team finished second at PGL Major Antwerp 2022. However, Boombl4’s performance was not the reason for his departure. He was let go of the team for “high reputational risks” related to the behavior of his former wife Lika ‘LiQueen’ Mikhailova. This was mainly due to the fact that she kept posting pro-Russia stuff, which didn’t go over well with the Ukrainian org NAVI in times of the Russian war in Ukraine.

Consequently, Mikhailova accused Boombl4 of drug use, which he disproved just a few days after. Boobml4 explained that he met his now ex-wife on an escort call and that he allegedly spent almost half a million dollars on her.

Exactly how Boombl4 will continue is currently not clear, but will likely become apparent in the near future. He hasn’t announced any career plans yet, but it is safe to assume that he will try to find a new team to continue his successes there.
