Valorant Agent 24 ‘Iso’: All abilities explained

Agent 24 Iso will join Valorant on October 31 and introduce a range of abilities to the game, including an energy-based bolt, a bulletproof wall, and an interesting Ultimate that gives you a 1v1 fight against the opponent. 

The newest Valorant Agent, Iso, is a vicious assassin and lone wolf from China, the country that recently got the game. Iso will join Valorant’s Agent pool a few months after Deadlock makes his debut and about 20 months after the release of the last Duelist, Neon. Fans, Professional gamers, and content creators finally got the trailer for the new agent today, revealing Iso’s appearance and abilities. Here is a brief review of the new Duelist’s abilities:

E – Double Tap

Iso’s initial ability is his E, Double Tap, which allows him to start a focus countdown and enter a flow state. Like Reyna, every enemy he defeats and damages while in the flow condition will release an energy orb. Iso will instantly become shielded and absorb one count of damage from any source if those orbs are fired.

Q – Undercut

Iso can launch an energy-based bolt through solid things, such as walls and any other thick structure, like Sova’s Ult, by using his Q ability, Undercut. When it fires, the bolt moves forward straight ahead, dealing a momentary fragile debuff to any player it comes into contact with.

C – Contingency

Iso can gather prismatic energy through a device, which enables her to launch an unbreakable wall of energy in the direction of her enemies. Like Harbor’s Cascade, the wall looks impregnable, stopping every bullet that hits it.

X-Death Contract

Valoramt layers are talking a lot about Iso’s ultimate ability, Kill Contract since they liken it to Mordekaiser’s Ultimate from League of Legends. Iso’s Ult summons an interdimensional arena from which you can launch an energy column across the map when it is activated.

The first player to be hit by the energy column will be moved into a special 1vs1 duel arena along with Iso. Only the winner of the deadly combat between you and your opponent will return to the map to resume the round.

It will be fascinating to see if the developer’s prediction that the new Agent could drastically change Valorant’s meta is accurate, or if the new Duelist will fall into the same mediocrity as the game’s recent two additions, Deadlock and Geeko.
