The VALORANT Disguised Toast team’s VALORANT adventure in the VCL NA has ended in the worst possible way, as the team bowed out of Split 2 without winning a single game. As a result, Disguised lost the spot for next season’s Challengers League, and all players will likely leave the team in the coming hours.
Disguised had a promising lineup, with world-class players like Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker and Joshua “steel” Nissan. However, the team could not have cohesion within the servers, allowing them to have good Team Play to succeed in the matches played.
Now, we will only have to wait for the decisions of the content creator and owner of the team, Disguised Toast, regarding their players.
Disguised say goodbye to VCL NA Split 2 without victories
After a lot of media noise regarding the creation of this team and, of course, the addition of very good players in the scene like yay and steel, Disguised has fallen terribly. As a result, the team lost all five games in the VCL NA Split 2 and finished last place in the tournament.
However, the team still had a chance to return to the VCL NA for next season, as the last four teams in the table would play for two spots in the NA Play-In Relegation. Similarly, Disguised continued with a terrible level of play, and after two crushing 0-2 losses to OREsports and MAD Lions, the team is left without the spot for the next VCL NA.
This marks the end of our Valorant season as we are dropped from Challengers next year
Sorry to all the fans and thank you everyone for supporting DSG throughout these times

Disguised Toast posted a response stating that he does not know what will happen from now on. However, he thanks all the players and Technical Staff who left their skin playing for Disguised during this time.
Whatever happens – I’m truly appreciative of all the players and staff that took a chance to play for DSG. I’ll always be grateful to them.

Player reaction
As mentioned, Disguised has extremely experienced and scene-proven players such as yay and steel on its roster. However, even they couldn’t get the lineup to pick up the slack and start winning games.
As a result, yay expressed himself in a way that is undoubtedly very worrying. The 24-year-old, considered one of the best players in the world, said he was depressed about what happened. In addition, he also strongly criticized himself and the whole team, saying that the mistakes made by the team are unacceptable, as he considers that not even ranked players make them. Finally, he notes that he will donate his last salary to charity because “he doesn’t deserve it.”
ive never been so depressed i think in my entire life
the mistakes that are happening on this team are things in which im 99% sure ranked players could do better, and its actually pathetic that we are “salaried professionals”
im donating my last paycheck to charity since I…

On the other hand, Drake “Exalt” Branly, IGL of the team, mentioned that he feels disappointed that since his return to the team, Disguised lost six BO3 in a row. In addition, he thanked Toast for the opportunity to return to IGL and thus demonstrate his capabilities. However, the player said he would take this offseason to improve some things in his game and return at his best possible level.
I also would like to thank @DisguisedToast for the chance to come back and showcase my IGLing. Although I’m still new and noobie in some areas. I think I showed some potential in the role. An absolute shame that I couldn’t have brought any wins to this team since returning….

It is unknown what will happen to Disguised’s lineup. Remember that they will not play the VCL NA in the upcoming season. Most likely, all players will leave the team, and a restructuring will begin. However, we will watch for announcements from Toast and communicate this in due course.
