Team Vitality Close in On Selfmade and LIDER Signings

According to the latest rumors, Team Vitality are close to announcing the signings of two new players for its LEC roster. The French organization are believed to have all but tied up deals for jungler Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek and mid laner Adam “LIDER” Ilyasov. The duo would become the teams’ starting mid-jungler for the 2021 LEC Summer Split.

Why Vitality Have Made Such Significant Changes

It has been a busy few weeks for Vitality, who recently announced the arrival Andrei “Realistik” Ruse from mousesports. The former head coach will team up with Mateusz “Tasz” Borkowski, who moved from the Vitality Bee Academy team to the main roster. With Vitality having finished in 9th position in the LEC 2020 Summer Split, such changes should not come as a surprise. Louis-Victor “Mephisto” Legendre will act as another assistant coach for the team.

Should the expected signings go through, it would spell the end of Selfmade’s time with Fnatic. He spent 18 moths with the leading organization, following his move from SK Gaming in 2019. During his time at Fnatic, Selfmade has become one of the top junglers in Europe, with Vitality likely to have needed to invest heavily to secure his services. 21-year-old Selfmade only made his professional debut in 2017, with his showings for ThunderX3 Basoknia having led to a move to MAD Lions.

Who Will Make Up the Team Vitality LoL Roster?

Meanwhile, LIDER will return to the LEC, having made his debut during the 2019 Summer Split, when he played for Misfits Gaming. The Norwegian player joined Misfits in 2018, following the failures of their star-studded former lineup. Having played in 12 of Misfits’ 18 games during the Summer Split regular season, LIDER joined mousesports at the beginning of 2020.

At Vitality, LIDER will reunite with Realistik, with the duo having worked together at mousesports. With top laner Enzo “SLT” Gonzalez is another new signing for Vitality. Alongside Selfmade and LIDER will team up with AD Carry Jus “Crownshot” Marusic and support Labros “Labrov” Papoutsakis.
