With all the money in their bank, Team Falcons has recruited Aui_2000 to fill the coaching position in their Dota 2 roster. The already-stacked Falcons roster just got even better.

Falcons Before Aui_2000’s Arrival

Saudi Arabian esports organization Team Falcons announced their superstar Dota 2 roster in November 2023. The roster boasts TI winners, young prodigies, and, overall, some of the best players in every position in the team.

With the roster being just a little over two months old, Team Falcons achieved excellent results, considering the little time the roster has been together. The squad won the Pinnacle: 25 Year Anniversary Show, pocketing $50,000 and their first trophy.

In their first big tournament, ESL One Kuala Lumpur, the Falcons finished 5-6th after losing to Team Liquid, one of the best Dota 2 teams throughout 2023, so no shame there.

Just a few days ago, Team Falcons qualified for their second Tier 1 gig, BetBoom DACHA Dubai 2024, where they defeated PSG Quest in the Grand Final of the MENA Qualifier. So far, the roster has been performing up to expectations, and with a bit of polishing, the Falcons can become a title-winning contender.

However, keep in mind that these five players have achieved all of this without the presence of a coach.

Aui_2000 Joins The Fray

After qualifying for BetBoom DACHA Dubai, Team Falcons has finally introduced their coach, Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling. Aui_2000 has won two TIs, once as a player in 2015 and once as a coach in 2022. He will rejoin Oliver “skiter” Lepko and Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu, two teammates he lifted the Aegis with from Tundra Esports before the roster broke apart.

Many professional players who have worked with Aui_2000 previously have high regard for his intelligence, often referring to him as one of the most intelligent minds in Dota 2.

The Canadian coach has top-caliber players to work with, which would scar his reputation if he couldn’t help the roster succeed. He has all the resources to make this lineup work.

The finalized Falcons roster ahead of the 2024 Dota 2 season is as follows:

  • Oliver “skiter” Lepko
  • Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak
  • Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf
  • Andreas “Cr1t” Nielsen
  • Wu “Sneyking” Jingjun

There is a possibility that Aui_2000 had been helping Team Falcons throughout some of their recent tournaments but was never announced to the public. If this were the case, something like this would not go against any rules.

The new Team Falcons lineup will make their LAN debut in Dubai, where they will represent their region. However, the “Qualifier Hell” has not ended yet, as Team Falcons are currently going through the DreamLeague Season 22 MENA Qualifier.
