Stanislaw leaves Evil Geniuses

One of the most experienced players in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competitive scene, Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz, is leaving the Evil Geniuses lineup. The 29-year-old veteran’s departure comes after eight months with the organization, and there is no doubt that it has not been the best period in his career as a professional.

While it is true that Stanislaw’s talent and experience are undisputed, this was not enough to lift a team that gradually fell apart. In addition, the player was part of Evil Geniuses Black, the organization’s “second” team.

Evil Geniuses and stanislaw part ways

Through a statement on its official Twitter account, Evil Geniuses announced the departure of IGL veteran Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz. Now, the 29-year-old is in free agency and searching for a new home.

Due to the problems that Evil Geniuses’ lineup has presented in recent months, different changes in their two CS:GO squads were to be expected. There have been many moves in the main squad, and one of the most recent was the signing of IGL Ismail “refrezh” Ali. As a result, Jadan “HexT” Postma was removed from the starting lineup of the first team, and, as a consequence, stanislaw gave up his spot.

In the face of all this, stanislaw was very pleased for the opportunity given to him by Evil Geniuses to help develop new talents in EG Black. Furthermore, the player states he is hungry to compete and is looking for a new home in the competitive CS:GO scene.

Stanislaw’s career has had some ups and downs, but the 29-year-old Canadian stayed on the scene. His beginnings were in 2014 when he was part of a now-disbanded team called Mobility. Then, the player kept changing teams until he arrived at OpTic Gaming in 2016.

From that moment on, stanislaw’s level of play increased so that he caught the attention of Team Liquid, a team where he stayed for two seasons and showed great signs of level. Then, in 2018, after a brief return to OpTic, stanislaw signed for Complexity Gaming, where he stayed for more than a year and, without a doubt, continued to show great performance.

Finally, stanislaw joins EG Black in August of the 2022 season. However, his leadership within the servers was not as expected by the organization, as they failed to win any of the ten events in which he participated with EG Black. In addition, their best record was the second place obtained in the ESL Challenger League S43.

This move was to be expected after the arrival of refrezh to the organization. As a result, stanislaw has been out of all tournaments and qualifiers since then.

Now we have to wait and see which team requires the services of an experienced and veteran IGL like stanislaw. There are several options on the market, of course, but we must consider that there is currently a lot of talent that, regardless of age, can take the reins of a team and lead them to victories.
