BetBoom Dacha playoffs predictions

Now that the BetBoom Dacha group stage is over, the winners can prepare for the playoffs. They will only have around 6-8 hours available for their analysis and practice sessions. But the good news is that everyone who’s left in the race will be faced with a weaker opponent than the one they could have had.

In both groups, the underdogs won. We don’t know at this point whether this happened because they’re much stronger than we thought or because the favorites didn’t feel too good in Dubai and were not able to play their usual game. But for various reasons, we now have MIBR, BetBoom Team, Virtus.pro, and Team Spirit in the playoffs of the tournament.

Three of these teams are composed of Russian and Ukrainian players, which suggests that CIS Counter-Strike is still one of the best in the world. The Brazilians from MIBR will have a tough time in the semifinals, and the Grand Final, if they can reach it.

The strongest of the four competitors that are left is obviously Virtus.pro. The team led by Jame won the IEM Rio Major one year ago, and they’ve not forgotten how Counter-Strike works. They might have encountered some difficulties in CS2, but who hasn’t?

Apart from FaZe Clan and possibly Team Vitality, everyone’s had a rough time in the last several months. Teams are still trying to figure out what the best strategies are in the new game, and are hopeful that Valve can fix most of the problems before the start of the 2024 season.

Semifinal 1: MIBR vs. Team Spirit

This match favors MIBR. After what they showed in the group stage against Cloud9, it’s hard to not regard this team as being very strong at this competitive level. The Brazilians are clearly hungry to win something that will make their fans happy.

As a CS2 organization, MIBR is one of the most prestigious in South America. But it’s been a long time since the start of the project and there haven’t been that many notable results.

Semifinal 2: Virtus.pro vs. BetBoom Team

Virtus.pro are one class above BetBoom, but perhaps nafany can lead his team to a surprising victory in this match. The victories against GamerLegion and Cloud9 from the group stage of this tournament suggest that they are capable of causing an upset. Just keep in mind that the odds are not in their favor.
