The controversy around the latest information regarding Beau “RamBeau” Sheidy, former Sentinels player and now DarkZero player, continues.
The experienced Apex player announced his retirement from the professional scene two weeks ago, citing family problems he had to deal with and solve. However, less than 15 days later, the player returned to the professional scene to compete under the DarkZero banner. This undoubtedly generated a lot of criticism from players and community members, so RamBeau offered an apology for how he handled the situation.

During the beginning of the interview in Falloutt’s stream, RamBeau talked about his family problems before starting the ALGS Pro League. He further alleged that these problems affected his mental health.
On the other hand, RamBeau also mentioned the details of his conversation with Sentinels regarding his mid-season retirement decision. The player details that his performance and lack of motivation led him to decide. As a result, the organization and the player agreed to part ways and thus put an “end” to his career as a professional.

RamBeau’s return came as a surprise to his former teammates
While it is true that RamBeau decided to retire to end his professional career in the Apex scene, the player returned on April 15 to DarkZero. This, of course, generated some confusion and, above all, surprised his former teammates. In addition, the Sentinels squad was together for several years, playing under the name of different teams and organizations. So, it is normal that the players took this as a “betrayal” by RamBeau.

As we can see, several players strongly criticized the decision taken by RamBeau to return to the scene two weeks later with DarkZero. Some of them mentioned that different internal problems made the player decide to retire. However, Eric “Snip3down” Wrona of FaZe Clan and Phillip “ImperialHal” Dosen of TSM said RamBeau had contradictory actions since his retirement.
In addition, one of his former Sentinels teammates, Keon “Keon” Berghout, responded to the Tweet saying that it’s not what RamBeau did but how he did it.
It’s not what he did… it’s the way that he did it.

RamBeau’s Apology Arrives
Due to all the criticism, RamBeau apologized to Sentinels and his former teammates. The experienced player claimed that he regretted not being able to speak up earlier, but he was somewhat afraid of confrontation. On the other hand, RamBeau mentioned that playing with DarkZero was not in his plans until a few days before announcing his return, so this did not influence his decision to leave the Sentinels lineup.
Is there a part of you that didn't think @Sentinels could win, but thinks @DarkZeroGG can win and that's drove the decision?
"No, not really. Playing with them never went into my decision." – @RamBeauski

Also, RamBeau does not have a starting spot on DarkZero, meaning he joined as an alternate for the team after the departure of Rick “Sharky” Wirth for the remainder of the Split. Furthermore, DZ’s official Twitter account stated that the player would only be a replacement.
It’s no secret, but @Rambeauski will be joining @Genburten and @Zer0OCE as our sub for the remainder of the ALGS split. From the luscious locks, shoeys, and cracked aim, we are excited to have him play for DZ. We’ll be cracking brewskis while we watch the boys farm NA bots.

Now, we all look forward to how RamBeau’s level will be now playing for DarkZero. We won’t have to wait long for that, as the actions return next April 23 at the ALGS Pro League in NA.
