The popular British organization, Fnatic, seems to have found the perfect replacement for the team’s bot lane position left by gaming legend Rekkles. According to a report posted on Blix.gg, the player would be Oh “Noah” Hyeon-tae, the former KT Rolster bot lane.

Let’s remember that Fnatic has had a complex season, as it has not managed to exceed or even come close to the expectations set at the beginning of the year. But, on the other hand, the team has made some changes throughout these four months in its LoL lineup and, the most recent and that left everyone surprised was the benching of LEC legend Martin “Rekkles” Larsson due to the announcement of his role change to Support.

As a result, the team was left without a player to cover the bot lane, and now they might be close to signing one.

Reports claim Fnatic would sign Noah to replace Rekkles

According to a report published by Alejandro Gomis, Fnatic would have an agreement with Noah to fill the bot laner position for the LEC Summer Split 2023.

The report details that the British organization already has an agreement with the player and, in addition, everything would already be arranged with Zero Tenacity, Noah’s current team.

Rekkles surprised the League of Legends competitive scene by announcing his role change, including his teammates. Several claimed they knew the news when the 26-year-old veteran posted the video on his Twitter account. One was Oscar “Oscarinin” Muñoz, who revealed in a JordiLMK stream that they did not expect this news.

However, what surprised the community the most is that, hours after Rekkles announced his role change, Fnatic published that they would not count on the player for the Summer Split. On the other hand, a few days ago, it was rumored that Rekkles would be the new signing of KOI as Support instead of Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus.

About Noah

Now, for those who are wondering who Noah is, we have to point out that he is a bot lane which is 21 years old and has several seasons playing for KT Rolster. However, the player has performed perfectly in the academy team, the Challengers, and finally in the LCK.

However, after two years in the organization of being relegated to the Challengers squad, the player decided to leave the team in December 2022 to play for Zero Tenacity, a Serbian team playing in a league that is admittedly of a somewhat lower level than the rest of the regional leagues.

Noah, playing for Zero Tenacity, was the main pillar of the team to win the Ultraliga S9 and, in addition, was nominated for the MVP award five times during the entire Group Stage. However, the team failed to perform well at the EMEA Masters 2023, finishing 13th in the table after a 1-6 record.

If this signing is completed, Fnatic will try to turn around their situation in this 2023 LEC season, as the team had more than disappointing performances in the two splits that have been played so far.
