MrBeast brings 1$M tournament to Fortnite

Jimmy Donaldson, better known by his screen name MrBeast, and Epic Games are teaming up to host MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge, a Fornite event inspired by MrBeast’s cash giveaways youtube videos.

There have already been a number of appearances from top streamers like Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Lachlan “Lachlan” Power, and Kathleen “Loserfruit” Belsten in Fortnite, but YouTuber MrBeast has been on the fans’ wish list for too long. The sensational YouTuber, who is known for giving away enormous sums of money to his followers or random individuals, is finally making an appearance in Fortnite with a new competitive event and attractive cosmetics. Fortnite’s forthcoming competition starring YouTube sensation MrBeast will offer a $1 million prize pool. The MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge, which will take place on December 17, will provide a gigantic $1 million prize to the Fortnite player who achieves the highest score.

Players must avoid obstacles, gather coins, and endure difficult challenges within a set amount of time in order to score points. The island itself, where MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge will take place, has been made available to players yesterday, allowing them plenty of time to practice and become accustomed to the island before it officially launches On December 17. Players will have a total of three hours after the competition starts to finish as many matches as they can in order to get a high score, which will be a total of the player’s five best games. 

MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge: Rewards and Cosmetics

The golden Beast Brella Umbrella, an exclusive in-game item, will be awarded to the top 100,000 players as a runner-up reward. Players will also have the opportunity to purchase MrBeast and MrBeast 6000 Icon Series outfits which will feature many attractive accessories. Along with the cosmetic set, the Beast Blasting Emote—a regular Fortnite emote that lets players shoot money from blasters—will also be made available. 

 

Starting on December 13, Fortnite players can also participate in MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Quests. Players must achieve a high enough score to complete the two tasks, which are located on the Challenge island. Players who complete their first quest will receive the special MrBeast Gaming Spray, while those who complete the second quest will receive the MrBeast Survival Game Loading Screen.
