Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is reported to include a redesigned War Mode, a new Gear-based Perk system, and a classic mini-map.
With the revelation of various new elements that potentially appear in Modern Warfare 3, excitement for the upcoming title is starting to build up. The most recent significant leak reveals the Call of Duty title’s logo, effectively confirming that the upcoming game will be Modern Warfare III.
The presiding judge in the FTC vs. Microsoft hearings in US federal court reportedly disclosed that the upcoming Modern Warfare Call of Duty game will be released in November 2023. Moreover, the future game will reportedly carry on the narrative from Modern Warfare 2’s events when Task Force 141 encounters Vladamir Makarov, one of the most notorious enemies from the first Modern Warfare game series.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – All leaks and reports:
The biggest reported change to the fundamental gameplay loop could be the reintroduction of enemies appearing as red dots on the in-game minimap, which was removed in Modern Warfare 2. Players could use this to more effectively improve their position and anticipate rotations and gunfight scenarios.
The “Ninja” perk, which first appeared in the first Modern Warfare 2 game is reportedly making a comeback in Call of Duty’s upcoming title. Perks in Modern Warfare 3 would be accessed through “Gear,” with each piece of Gear bringing a different set of capabilities and functionality to the player’s experience, according to information provided by the leaker BobNetworkUK.
People are apparently confused about this whole system so let me dumb it down for you – afaik its 4 perk columns, laid out kinda like this:
Helmet – Perk 1
Vest – Perk 2
Gloves – Perk 3
Boots – Perk 4That’s not the confirmed order, but it’s something along those lines. https://t.co/E1RSjGwzzR

Also, according to reports, Call of Duty: WW2’s War mode will make a comeback in MW III. The game mode debuted around six years ago, giving Sledgehammer Studios plenty of time to hone it before relaunching with the upcoming title. According to leaker BobNetworkUK, Modern Warfare 2’s weapons, operator, and user interface could be featured in its procedure title.
Let’s get this out of the way…

Many players were wondering whether the cosmetics they bought in Modern Warfare 2 will be available in Modern Warfare 3, especially in light of the report’s suggestion that Operators could cross over as well. A recent Tweet from Call of Duty confirmed that the Modern Warfare 2 Weapons, Operators, and Bundles will transfer over to Call of Duty 2023. Activision has not, however, verified the information regarding any other details in the article.
