The Call of Duty League offseason is in full swing, and while we have different rumors about possible player signings by some teams, other organizations are officially announcing their lineups.

This time, we have LA Thieves revealing their lineup for the upcoming Call of Duty League season. The team’s new lineup sees familiar faces in the competitive CoD scene, but we have a mix of NA and US talents. Also, let’s remember that the organization decided to drop their entire CDL Championship 2022 champion lineup.

LA Thieves announce their new lineup for CDL 2024

Through an official statement on their Twitter account, LA Thieves announced their new lineup for the upcoming Call of Duty League season.

As we observed and have known for several months, LA Thieves decided to terminate their squad, leading them to be crowned for the first time in their history in the CDL Championship 2022. Sam “Octane” Larew decided to retire as a professional player, Kenny “Kenny” Williams signed with OpTic Texas at the end of July, Dylan “Envoy” Hannon will play for the Toronto Ultra, and Zack “Drazah” Jordan will play for Atlanta FaZe.

As we can see, LA Thieves had to do a complete overhaul of their lineup heading into next season if they wanted to have the desired successes from the start of the Modern Warfare 3 era. As a result, the organization announced its new starting lineup members, and there is no doubt that it is a fearsome squad.

  • Daniel “Ghosty” Rothe
  • Marcus “Afro” Reid
  • Cameron “Cammy” McKilligan
  • Joe “JoeDeceives” Romero

This lineup was in the team’s plans for several weeks and was even published as rumors by several media outlets. However, it is now a reality, and there is no doubt that the LA Thieves will try to fight against the four teams that formed a super team for next season:

  • OpTic Texas
  • Atlanta FaZe
  • New York Subliners
  • Toronto Ultra

If something strange doesn’t happen during the season, there is no doubt that these teams will be in charge of dominating the CDL scene from start to finish. However, the rest of the teams in the league will be trying to assemble a solid roster that will allow them to compete at the highest level possible.

LA Thieves and their problems in signing players

Undoubtedly, the Thieves have had trouble signing top players or talented young players. However, this new team’s lineup looks promising, and there is no doubt they can continue to aspire to win Majors and, why not, the 2024 CDL Championship.

Only four teams are left to confirm their lineups after the Thieves announced their squad for the upcoming Call of Duty League season. We are discussing LA Guerrillas, London Royal Ravens, Las Vegas Legion, and Seattle Surge.
