Gamers8 reveals eight CS:GO teams invited to 2023 Festival

Gamers8, the organizers of the “world’s biggest” Esports festival, has announced the eight CS:GO teams participating in the $1M tournament from August 14-20 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The four teams first announced as direct invitees were Heroic, G2 Esports, Team Vitality, and Virtus.pro, no less than four of the best teams in the world. However, less than 24 hours later, four more teams were announced to be part of the festival, Cloud9, ENCE, NaVi, and FaZe Clan. These teams are the ones that have accepted the invitations to the event, so the remaining eight are yet to be announced to complete the 16 participants.

Gamers8 announces the eight teams that will participate in the 2023 festival

The organizing committee of Gamers8, in its 2023 edition, announced the CS:GO teams directly invited to the $1M tournament to be played in August this year. As we mentioned, last May 8, the organizers revealed that Heroic, G2 Esports, Team Vitality, and Virtus.pro were the first four teams to accept the invitation to the tournament.

However, less than a day later, they announced four other teams accepting the invitations.

We know the first eight teams present at the tournament from August 14-20, 2023, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

According to the announcements of the festival organizers, in the coming days we will have much more information regarding the rest of the teams that will participate in the tournament. In addition, they will also reveal the format that will be used. Let’s remember that Gamers8 recently expanded the tournament from 12 to 16 participating teams, which could impact the format they might have initially planned.

This esports festival will be held for the second time in its history and will have tournaments of different video games and large amounts of money to be distributed. In addition, it will be held in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, and will feature many extra sports activities for fans and players to enjoy to the fullest. The tournament organizers set the goal of exceeding the expectations of the 2022 edition, and at the time of its announcement, we could notice it. The festival will distribute no less than $45,000,000 in prizes, undoubtedly a big amount.

The 2023 edition of Gamers8 has everything to be a mind-blowing experience for all attendees, be they fans, teams, or gamers. In addition, many more video games were included in this festival to accommodate most of the esports community.

The 2023 Gamers8 festival, with different tournaments and activities, will start next July 6. However, CS:GO, which will debut in this second edition of Gamers8, will be played in August, one month later.

In addition to CS:GO, there will be Rainbow Six Siege, Dota 2 (Riyadh Master), Fortnite, and Rocket League tournaments.
