FaZe Clan is targeting Web3 gaming

Since FaZe Clan burst into the esports scene in 2010 with a Call of Duty team, the organization has grown immensely and diversified exponentially, creating a lifestyle brand that sells products and experiences to its fans.

Besides delving deeper into esports by creating its own teams in CS:GO, Fortnite, VALORANT, Rainbow Six, PUBG, PUBG Mobile, FIFA Online, Rocket League, and Halo Infinite, FaZe Clan became the first publicly traded esports company on the New York Stock Exchange.

In addition, with incredible backing behind it, FaZe now also ventures into Web3, the idea for a new iteration of the World Wide Web that incorporates concepts like decentralization.

FaZe Clan, in partnership with The Sandbox, brings to life “FaZe World”

Thanks to the collaboration with The Sandbox, FaZe Clan takes the first steps into Web3 to create metaverse experiences for its fans. The organization created its own “world” on a plot acquired from the 12 x 12 virtual land in the Sandbox metaverse. The FaZe World metaverse reportedly encompasses FaZe Clan’s lifestyle and culture.

As a part of the partnership, the two companies will co-produce experiences for fans in The Sandbox by creating digital infrastructure, virtual events, games, and digital product launches.

The Sandbox LANDs surrounding FaZe World will be available for public purchase on individual digital real estate. This will give FaZe Clan fans an opportunity to be neighbors with one of the world’s largest gaming and media organizations.

FaZe World’s immersive experiences are reportedly scheduled for release in 2023.

FaZe Clan recently also announced its new Web3 project titled FaZe Forever, which is presented as a new way for fans to experience gaming.

Powered by viral cryptocurrency exchange MoonPlay, FaZe Forever helped the victims of cryptocurrency-related scams last year, and exposed celebrities for promoting fraudulent schemes.
