The 2023 Call of Duty League season is nearing its end, and the teams know that now more than ever, they will have to give their all in every match to earn the CLD Points that will take them to the next CDL Championship 2023.
Now, after three weeks of intense battles in the online qualifiers, we are just a few hours away from the start of the main event of Major IV. There is no doubt that OpTic Texas arrives with the label of favorites after perfectly completing the qualifiers with a 5-0 record. In addition, we have observed how the reigning champions, Toronto Ultra, left much to be desired by winning only one of the four matches played.

CDL 2023 Stage 4 Major – Details
We are just a few hours from the start of the 2023 CDL Major IV, and all the teams are getting ready to fight for the crown. As we mentioned, OpTic Texas and each of its players shined in the qualifiers, so they start with the label of favorites stuck on their backs.
On the other hand, several contenders, such as LA Thieves, Las Vegas Legion, NY Subliners, and Seattle Surge, also had a great qualifying tournament and will not make things easy for OpTic.
Schedule
The 4th edition will begin next Thursday, April 20, and run until Sunday, April 23, 2023. The eight teams that will start in the Winners Bracket and the first matches of the Major IV will be the following:
- OpTic Texas vs. Boston Breach – April 20 – 22:30 CEST
- New York Subliners vs. Las Vegas Legion – April 20 – 21:00 CEST
- Los Angeles Thieves vs. Minnesota RØKKR – April 20 – 19:30 CEST
- Seattle Surge vs. Atlanta FaZe – April 21 – 00:00 CEST

Finally, the winners of these matches will continue in the Winners Bracket, while the losers will drop down to the Elimination Brackets, where the following teams currently are:

CDL Major IV Format
As in previous Majors, Major IV will feature the Winners Bracket and the Elimination Bracket. All matches to be played will be best-of-five (BO5) except the Grand Final, which will be best-of-seven (BO7).
The game modes and maps remain the same as in Major III, namely:

Unlike the previous three Majors, Major IV will be available on the Call of Duty League’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.

In addition, the different Watch Parties that have been very popular during 2023 of the different content creators will also follow through their official Twitch channels.
Remember that the fight for the CDL Points and the $500,000 to be distributed will be intense. In addition, it should be noted that with only one Major to be played, teams have to try to score as many points as possible to be among the top eight in the table and thus qualify for the CDL Championship 2023.
