Two new Fortnite tournaments will be added to DreamHack Summer Festival 2022 in Jönköping, Sweden. Each competition will feature its own format and a $100,000 prize pool. While one will be played in the classic Fortnite Battle Royale mode, the other will use the new Zero Build game mode.

Both tournaments will be a part of the LAN event taking place at the Elmia Congress and Concert Hall in Jönköping. The competitions will be held between June 18 and 20, with qualifiers running on the opening day and playoffs on Sunday and Monday.

According to DreamHack, all visitors of DreamHack Open who purchased a LAN ticket will be eligible to participate. Both tournaments will be solo competitions, so there’s no need to search for a team. Since it’s a purely LAN event, no online attendants will be allowed.

Artem Bykov, General Manager, Game Management at ESL Gaming, commented:

“We are delighted to offer our community once again the chance to compete in Fortnite.

DreamHack and Fortnite are a perfect pairing as we’re both focused on providing our communities with great experiences and to team up once again to bring these prestigious yet fun competitions to Sweden is amazing.”

Besides participation in Fortnite tournaments, DreamHack Summer visitors will also have access to various activities including free play games, art zones, cosplay, main stage concerts, and expos. Moreover, the event will be packed with well-known content creators such as Memetix, Elajjaz, Nymn, and Snowmixy, among others. Both events will be broadcasted live on the official DreamHack Twitch channel for Fortnite.
