Over the years, many fans have become “attached,” so to speak, to different casters because of the way they broadcast their favorite esports matches. Mitch “MitchMan” McBride and Tom “Tombizz” Bissmire have been favorites of the VALORANT community since the game’s launch in 2020. Unfortunately, this time, we will have to enjoy VCT Masters Tokyo without seeing/hearing them during the broadcasts.
Both casters informed this through their Twitter accounts because, according to them, Riot Games left them out of the Masters. After this revelation, the community has not taken long to react negatively against Riot Games.
Riot Games leaves MitchMan and Tombizz out of VCT Masters Tokyo
Before Riot Games officially announced the list of all casters and commentators at VCT Masters Tokyo, two of the most popular casters in the scene, MitchMan, and Tombizz, revealed the news that they would not be part of the staff.
. @MitchMan and I have been informed we won't be attending Japan as broadcast talent. Although saddened to miss our first masters, it was bound to happen eventually.
That being said if anyone would like to bring us in some other capacity (content etc) feel free to reach out ❤️

As we can see in the message, Tombizz tells all the fans that he and MitchMan will not be able to travel to Japan for the Masters Tokyo because Riot did not include them in the broadcasting talent list.
With this news, many fans and community members have been completely disappointed, as for many, this is the best “casting duos” in the esports scene.
One of the best casting duos out there no doubt, heads up brother

As highlighted by many in the comments on Twitter, this duo has captured a large fan base thanks to the humor they use in the broadcasts. In addition, they also point out that they will miss the excitement they bring to every match.
One of the best casting duos.
Always great to watch you guys do your job and feel the emotions you share.I hope to see you guys at Champions.

In addition to this pair of well-known personalities within the scene, many fans have rejected this announcement and claimed that Riot is messing up. Meanwhile, another point out that it won’t be the same watching VCT Masters Tokyo without them.
that’s wild, I’m so sorry to hear 😭 it won’t be the same without you guys. I hope someone is able to get you over there!!

MitchMan and Tombizz wanted to travel to Tokyo as spectators
In a later tweet, MitchMan noted that the two had planned to travel to Tokyo as spectators to enjoy, as they always have, a top-tier VALORANT tournament. However, he points out that they do not have the budget to do so, as they must pay $10,000 each for the US visas they will use at the VALORANT Champions 2023 in Los Angeles.
It's going to be strange watching this one from home but you can't win em all!
We thought about going to Japan on our own but after paying $10k for our US visas for Champs later this year the bill isn't manageable alone.

We will all have to wait for Riot Games’ decision regarding the duo castings they will use in the VCT Masters Tokyo. The tournament will be held from June 11 to 25, 2023, and the three best teams from the Americas and the Pacific, two Chinese and four European teams, will fight for glory.
