Clix joins XSET as co-owner

Cody “Clix” Conrod, one of the superstars of the global Fortnite scene, has joined XSET as a player and co-owner of the organization.

XSET had withdrawn from the Fortnite scene several months ago, but a month ago, they decided to come back, and now, they have signed one of the most important and, above all, highest-ranked players worldwide, Clix. In addition, let’s remember that we are very close to the start of the FNCS Global Championship, which will be played in Copenhagen, Denmark, and will have nothing more and nothing less than $4,000,000 in prizes.

There is no doubt that this is excellent news for both Clix and XSET, as they now prepare together for the most important tournament of the season.

Clix announces joining XSET as co-owner and player

Through an official statement on his Twitter/X account, Clix announced that he joins XSET as a player and co-owner. Also, as we mentioned, it’s ideal timing, as Clix is preparing to contest the FNCS Global Championship, which has $4M in prize money and will be played in Denmark.

NRG exited the Fortnite competitive scene in January, resulting in Clix being left with no organization and no team to represent. However, after many months, the superstar joined the North American organization XSET as a co-owner and player.

On the other hand, shortly after this announcement, a new partnership between the organization and DR3AMIN’, the clothing brand Clix owns, was posted on XSET’s website.

Clix said the following:

“Since the start of 2023, I have made great strides in my career, personal growth, and the impact I can make with my community. The timing of signing with XSET could not be more perfect. I am blessed to finally sign with an organization that aligns and believes in my vision as a content creator, competitive esports athlete, and entrepreneur that supports the growth of my apparel brand and my UEFN studio; we are about to take over.”

Undoubtedly, the addition of Clix is extraordinary for both parties, as the player will now have much more support in his preparation.

When will we see Clix make his debut with XSET?

As mentioned, Clix will debut playing under the XSET banner when the FNCS Global Championship 2023 kicks off this weekend. In addition, the player is one of the favorites to win one of the biggest portions of the $4M prize pool.

We can only wait until the tournament kicks off to see what level Clix will bring and if he can take the XSET banner to the top.
