Popular streamer Disguised Toast wants to give female esports a new chance and announced a few hours ago that it is looking for female players to play in VALORANT Game Changers.
Recall that Toast signed five female players, four streamers, for VALORANT Game Changers a few weeks ago. While this foray started extremely well, and they even managed to break some rating records in the women’s VALORANT, after only one week with the team, it was completely disbanded after failing to achieve the goal of qualifying for the main event.
Now, Toast is back at it again to sign a competitive team to take his VALORANT team, Disguised GC, to the highest competitive level.
Disguised announces return to VALORANT women’s scene
Disguised Toast announced on the team’s official account that it is looking for female and gender-marginalized players for its Disguised VC team. This is all to have the team participate in all Game Changers events in the NA region.
DSG is looking for female/marginalized gender players to participate in future Game Changers events
(no competitive experience necessary – must live in NA)
so if you are interested or know someone who would be great for the role – apply with this formhttps://t.co/s9H6bHKGCz

Unlike last time, Disguised posted a Google form for all female players to submit their VALORANT competitive “resumes.”. This is certainly a great initiative, as any player can apply for the team, as the announcement details that no competitive experience is required. However, the only requirement for Disguised places is that players must live in NA.
The form is simple to complete, where female players or players of marginalized genders must answer honestly. Some links are requested showing some statistics of the applicants’ accounts.
Very quick return to the women’s scene
There is no doubt that this marks an extremely quick return to the VALORANT Game Changers competitive scene by Toast. While the lineup he signed a few weeks ago didn’t work out, and they failed to qualify for the Game Changers main event, the content creator decides to bet on women’s esports again.
This team consisted of:
- Kaede “Kyedae” Alicia Shymko
- Jodi “QuarterJade” Lee
- Sydney “Sydeon” Parker
- Tenzin “tenzin” Dolkar
- Lydia “tupperware” Wilson – IGL
- Corey “ruin” Hartog – Head Coach
While these players are well known in the community for being content creators and winning their first match, they fell just short of qualification.
As a result, Toast decided to end the team citing “financial difficulties and role problems.”. However, Disguised’s Twitter account also announced they would return in a few months, implying an imminent return to the scene.
With this announcement, Toast hopes to put together a team that will be fully competitive and meets the expectations of qualifying for the 2023 Game Changers II. However, the starting dates for the tournament have not yet been announced, so Toast has plenty of time to analyze all options and put together a great team.
