BLAST has revealed the schedule for the 2024 season, which will feature 9 championships worth $3,900,000.

On the last day of the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, BLAST revealed the new location for the Fall Finals the following year, along with the tournament schedule for 2024. The Premier Circuit will begin in January with the Spring Groups, the first tier 1 LAN tournament of 2024, to kick off the new year. Spring Showdown, which happens in March just before the inaugural CS2 Major in Copenhagen, will come right after the opening tournament.

The first half of the season will come to an end with the Spring Final in London. The tournament will be held at London’s OVO Arena Wembley, which has a total sitting capacity of 12,500. After a one-month break, the action will resume with the Fall Groups, which will take in July. BLAST’s tournament cycle will continue with the Fall Showdown and Fall Final in August and September before the World Finals close the season.

According to BLAST, the Fall Final will not be held at the Royal Arena, which has been an important part of their circuit since 2017. Next year’s Fall Final will take place at Forum Copenhagen, a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Frederiksberg. Vitality recently won the 2023 Fall Finals after beating FaZe Clan in the Grand Finals, so they will be defending their title next year at the new venue.

The Showdowns will also be altered by BLAST; they will no longer be divided across two distinct regions. Rather, BLAST will host a single 16-team competition in Europe that will include three invited teams, seven teams from global qualifications, and the worst six teams from Groups.

The season will end with the World Finals, which will take place in November next year rather than December as usual. The last BLAST tournament of the year, which will take place in LAN mode in Saudi Arabia, will feature eight teams competing for a $1,000,000 prize fund. This will be the final BLAST event with partner teams in the system, as Valve has previously said that franchise leagues would be eliminated beginning in 2025.
