FURIA launches FURIA Skate Club

The Brazilian organization FURIA Esports announced last Tuesday, February 7, its new project called FURIA Skate Club. In addition, the organization signed professional Brazilian skater Lua Vicente as FURIA’s ambassador in the sport.

According to the Tweet published by FURIA, the FURIA Skate Club is:

“Launched to spread and support positive attitudes, leveraging the movement – FURIA Skate Club is a new ally of young people, allowing them to live their dreams and achieve their goals. Without barriers or borders, intended for everyone.”

As mentioned, this project aims to positively impact Brazilian communities and foreign countries using the popular medium of Skateboarding.

The main objective of this new project of FURIA Esports is to directly support all those young skateboarders who want to fulfill their dreams of becoming professionals in this field. As well as it intends to be a faithful collaborator and sponsor in improving the different street skate parks. In addition to organizing top-level tournaments.

FURIA Esports co-founder André Akkari said:

“We have several esports lineups, but we also have chess, poker, and streamers doing varied content. So we want to impact more traditional and extreme esports, and one of these areas is skateboarding. But not just having a competitor or a competitor per se. We want to set up a relationship club between FURIA and Skateboarding, where we can support Skateboarding in every aspect we can. whether it’s future track building or supporting athletes to go to competitions, or having official athletes.”

About Lua Vicente

Lua Vicente was champion in São Paulo in 2020 and 2021 and will now compete in the World Skate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. This event qualifies for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
