DRX vs T1
As mentioned earlier, Both teams were already sitting in a comfortable spot. A loss to DRX would have meaningless thanks to their complete domination so far. Moreover, DRX didn’t take this match on a lighter note and finished with a decisive victory of 2-0 over T1. Match was decided to be played on the following maps: Bind, Pearl, and Ascent.
Bind
DRX kicked off the match with their map pick, Bind, and immediately showcased their prowess as attackers by securing an impressive five-round streak. The first half was a complete display of dominance by DRX, leading with a commanding 9-3 score.
In the second half, T1 fought back with a more strategic approach, gaining better site access. However, DRX’s significant round advantage from the first half sealed their victory, ending the map with a 13-10 score.
Pearl
Continuing their dominance, DRX had a strong start on the defensive side in the next map of Pearl. Similar to the previous match, the first half concluded with a commanding 9-3 lead for DRX. Despite winning the pistol round, T1 showed resilience, fighting back. However, after a series of exchanges, DRX emerged victorious once again over T1 by a 13-9 score.

Global Esports vs Team Secret
Indian fans faced disappointment as Global Esports suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of Team Secret, eliminating them from the playoffs in the inaugural VCT franchise league. On the other hand, Team Secret secured their position for the next phase of the tournament.
Haven
The battle kicked off on Haven, with Global Esports showcasing a strong start and promising strategies throughout the first half, resulting in an even scoreline. However, the tides shifted when Team Secret went on the attack in the second half. With intense clutch moments, Team Secret’s precise gameplay exerted relentless pressure on Global Esports, ultimately securing a 13-9 victory on the first map.
Lotus
In the intense match on Lotus, Team Secret asserted their dominance with a four-round winning streak. However, Global Esports fought back, securing two rounds, including an impressive thrifty round. At halftime, Team Secret held a slight advantage of 7-5 rounds. In the second half, Global Esports made desperate site pushes, resulting in the loss of several rounds. Ultimately, Team Secret secured a vital playoff spot with a 13-10 victory on Haven.
