As we recently reported, the French esports organization Team Vitality seems to have big plans to sign a new coach for next season. We are talking about the organization’s plans to sign Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam as the new Head Coach.

At the time, we mentioned that the only thing that could cast doubt on this signing is that the TSM project was created and built by him. However, in the last few hours, it became known that the French coach is no longer part of TSM. As a result, everything seems to indicate that the rumors about his arrival at Team Vitality are true.

Danny “zonic” Sørensen will join Team Falcons on November 1, 2023, as the team’s new Head Coach. That is why Vitality is in the market for a coach who can fill the shoes of the experienced French Head Coach.

TSM announce the departure of XTQZZZ

Through a statement on its official Twitter/X account, TSM announced the departure of XTQZZZ from the Counter-Strike team’s staff. As a result, everything seems to indicate that the Frenchman will sign with Team Vitality after the unexpected departure of zonic.

After TSM announced its return to the competitive Counter-Strike scene at the end of 2022, rumors began regarding the possible players that would make up this lineup. However, it wasn’t until mid-2023 when the team’s possible lineup was leaked, which XTQZZZ was, in addition to the Head Coach, in charge of putting these pieces together.

Similarly, TSM officially announced its return to Counter-Strike in August and, since then, has won some matches and trophies in Tier 3 tournaments. Similarly, it is worth noting that the team has not participated in any top-level tournaments.

Generally speaking, we can say that TSM’s return to CS has not been as expected so far, and now that the architect of this project, XTQZZZ, decides to leave the team, everything seems to indicate that things will not get better.

About XTQZZZ

For those who don’t know him, XTQZZZ is a French coach with a lot of experience at the highest competitive level in Team Vitality and G2 Esports. As a result, XTQZZZ knows how to deal with the egos of top players.

Then, XTQZZZ decided to take an extended break until plans began to form TSM in early 2023. However, after less than 3 months of officially managing the team, the Frenchman seems to have much more ambitious goals for his future.

While it is true that the vast majority of CS2 mechanics are the same as in CS:GO, there is no doubt that the big change in this new era is the MR12 format. Fewer rounds are played per map, so teams have to take completely different approaches in every way.

The economy, eco rounds, and many more things have to change, as it may be a completely new style of play. As a result, having an experienced coach with the ability to give different points of view can help Team Vitality stay at the top in the early Counter-Strike 2 competitive scene.
