Xbox, ESPORTSU, and Paidia Gaming announce their partnership with a continued commitment to maintaining diversity, inclusion, and gender equality in gaming. In addition, the partnership aims to provide female gamers with contests and materials that recognize excellence, diversity, and positive gaming.

This campaign, which culminates at the Collegiate Esports Commissioner’s Cup (CECC) in Texas in May, consists of three gaming competitions that highlight female collegiate gamers. In addition, the activities, including two multimedia series, will highlight women competing at the national level.

Collegiate Esports Series for Rising Women Gamers

The best female collegiate athletes from across the continent will compete in a VALORANT women’s qualifying tournament. The tournament’s winner earns a berth to the Texas CECC, which takes place May 6-7, 2023, at Esports Stadium in Arlington.

CECC Texas hosts more than 64 teams from various gaming titles and is the largest multi-conference gathering of collegiate eSports programs in North America. In addition, the women’s competition on paidiagaming.com is open to college women across North America.

In turn, the Paidia Cup: Women’s VALORANT Matchmaking Season kicks off in partnership with Xbox, ESPORTSU, and Paidia; players across North America will play from February through May, with duels streamed live on ESPORTSU’s Twitch channel each week.

The winning team will be crowned champion of the first-ever Paidia Cup. In addition, the top two teams will be invited to compete in a show match at the CECC in Texas.

The Paidia Cup highlights emerging players and the potential of women in VALORANT. Exclusive images will be available throughout the competition to showcase the teams as they prepare for the ECCC in Texas. “Road to CECC” support from top college coaches will be part of the content series, along with “Cast This,” a project to identify and nurture up-and-coming shout-casting talent.

On the other hand, women interested in a career as a broadcaster can practice their craft while receiving guidance from top professionals in the industry. In this way, they will be able to develop their skills and make their debut at the CECC in Texas. Furthermore, these activities and content aim to transform the gaming market by making it more friendly, fun, and engaging while creating constructive social connections.
