There was another leak in Call of Duty and this time, it has been revealed that TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS are coming to Warzone 2 and MW2 as Operators! Also, Activision has allegedly postponed the WSOW Stage 1 EU and NA Qualifiers due to game crashes and the community was not at all happy with that.
The World Series of Warzone 2023 has suffered a major blow from a series of unfortunate mishaps. Activision has postponed the 2022 WSOW NA Qualifiers due to technical issues and cheating allegations have overshadowed other matches. You can find out everything about the leak and the server problems from us!
NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman as new operators
Activision has announced an NBA crossover for Warzone 2 and MW2 for May. Charlieintel has revealed that the mystery basketball player receiving an operator is Kevin Durant. Community members weren’t exactly thrilled with the announcement and have asked if they could add a more relevant character instead.

The CoD community would have preferred people who are closely associated with the series, such as action heroes or content creators. A good example of this is Ninja, who in Fortnite got the very first exclusive skin for the game’s influencers.
On May 3, Task Force Leaks Images credited HeyImAlaix with datamining the TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS operators. So why TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS for the operators of the game’s first content creators?
TimTheTatman plays a ton of different FPS titles, but he’s been at the center of the WZ1 Twitch boom and has put hundreds of hours into the battle royale. Warzone developers brutally trolled Tim when he asked for his own operator skin for his birthday in 2022, where Raven Software tweeted a picture of a clown costume, but he might finally get his own skin soon.
NICKMERCS is an Apex Legends pro player right now, but fans may have forgotten that he mostly played CoD in his early streaming days. Nick dominated CoD Ghosts betting matches and streamed loads of WZ1 during his heyday.

Players are disappointed with the postponement of the WSOW
On April 20th, six days before the start of WSOW 2023, Activision launched an investigation into server issues that have been plaguing Warzone 2. CoD legend OpTic Teep has wondered how Activision could host a $1.2 million tournament in a few days when the servers are so unstable.
On May 3rd, Activision announced the postponement in Twitter:

Teep’s and the community’s worst fears became reality when server issues caused the qualifiers to be abruptly postponed.
Activision didn’t provide a reason for this, but players speculate that AI opponents crashed the matches. Warzone 2 streamer ModernWarzone has claimed that “the servers kept crashing as soon as AI and strongholds appeared on the map“.
Call of Duty has just postponed the World Series of Warzone EU and NA qualifier matches because the servers kept crashing once AI and strongholds spawned into the map.
Embarrassing and makes myself and everyone else wonder if Warzone ranked is going to be dead on arrival.

Warzone 2 players are now demanding that the AIs be removed. We’ll see how Activision reacts and of course we’ll keep you posted!
