PSG.LGD’s offlaner Li “项羽” Longwu will not be able to travel to the 4D Esports Lima Dota Major 2023. According to the organization’s announcement on Weibo, there were issues with the player’s visa.

However, the organization has already taken care of his replacement — Ren “Old eLeVeN” Yangwei, who will play in his place at the event. Even though he hasn’t played this DPC season yet, he will get the chance to prove himself now and support the team. We’ll soon see if he’s a match for his opponents!

PSG.LGD as the best team from the region

The 4D Esports Lima Major 2023 will take place from February 22 to March 5 and will see a total of 18 teams from six regions compete for $500,000 and DPC points. PSG.LGD has prevailed in their region and travel to the Lima Major as the best team from China! Will they also get along well with the substitute at the tournament? Last season, Old eLeVeN played for Xtreme Gaming, who failed to qualify for The International 2022.

The team took 2nd place in the Chinese qualifier and places 5-6 in the Last Chance Qualifier. There were protests in Lima recently, which is why there was uncertainty as to whether the tournament could even take place as planned. The last official answer from the organizers was that there was no need to be afraid because there were hardly any riots in Lima itself. We will continue to monitor the situation.

Valve hasn’t commented on this yet, however, the investigation is still underway.
