Valve celebrates TI11 with free Battle Pass and Arcana

To celebrate TI11, Valve is giving away a Tier 1 Battle Pass (or 24 tiers for Battle Pass owners), a month of Dota Plus, and a free Arcana from the Dota 2 Store.

Players can obtain any Arcana from a selection including Ogre Magi, Terrorblade, Techies, Shadow Fiend, Legion Commander, Crystal Maiden, Juggernaut, Pudge, Lina, Monkey King, Zeus, Rubick or Phantom Assassin.

A free Arcana for all players

Dota 2 players are in for a big surprise as Valve is giving away multiple free gifts, including an Arcana, to celebrate the Dota 2 mega tournment The International 2022. Valve is giving away a Tier 1 Battle Pass (or 24 tiers for Battle Pass owners), a month of Dota Plus, and a free Arcana from the Dota 2 Store to keep Dota fans excited in the run-up to the finals.

Valve said in its announcement of The International Swag Bag:

“Our goal is to capitalize on the excitement of The International Grand Finals and ensure that the days and weeks following the conclusion of the event offer fans the best time to play Dota.”

There’s a catch, though: Players must play (or have played) at least 10 Dota 2 matches during the Battle Pass season, which is scheduled to last through January next year.

How to claim The International Swag Bag in Dota 2?

It’s a fairly simple process to claim the three freebies that Valve is offering its players:

One month of Dota Plus:

A Level 1 Battle Pass that can be redeemed for 24 Battle Levels if you already own a Battle Pass.

An arcana of your choice from the Dota 2 in-game store:

1. Update the Dota 2 client

2. If you have played at least 10 games in this Battle Pass season, you will be greeted with a Swag Bag screen. If not, then you must play 10 games of Dota 2 before the Battle Pass ends.

3. Click on the “Claim” icon under “30 Days Dota Plus” to get your 30 days free Dota Plus subscription.

4. To claim the Battle Pass or the 24 levels, click on the claim icon under the Level 1 Battle Pass. A Battle Pass or 24 Level Pack will now be added to your inventory.

5. To claim the Arcana, click the Claim Arcana button. You will be greeted with a message.

6. Choose the desired arcana from this list and select Claim Arcana to add it to your inventory.

The arcanas obtained cannot be sold or traded.

Valve also announced that part two of the 2022 Battle Pass will be released on November 3, bringing the new ‘Conduit of the Blueheart’ – Crystal Maiden persona and a new event mode.
