Nodwin Gaming, South Asia’s leading Esports brand has announced the VALORANT Conquerors Championship Tour VCC, 2022. This special event is organized in conjunction with Riot Games, Valorant publishers and a global leader in game publishing and development. South Asian teams will stand a chance to qualify for the Split 1 Asia Pacific (APAC) Challengers Playoff in the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2022 to later compete for a slot in the VCT Master 1 2022. Registrations begin in earnest on January 6th, 2022.

The Valorant Conquerors Championship tournament was first established in June 2021. Presently it is regarded as one of the most attended events for South Asian Valorant esports players. This tournament is so fantastic as it offers immense opportunities for South Asian esport players to compete on the international scene and play in the same space as Tier 1 international teams.

The Sout Asian scene is growing

At the time, it should be noted that South Asia is rapidly evolving to be a growing space for VALORANT and already boasts of some of the top teams including Team Exploit, Global Esports Enigma Gaming, and Velocity Gaming. As previously stated by Riot Games, South Asia has also given rise to the health Esports.

According to Akshat Rathee, MD & Co-founder of NODWIN Gaming, there has been an enormous growth of interest by South Asian players for the VCC since its establishment because it enables Valorant players to take a chance at the international level. The present tournament marks the second year of the contest, and NODWIN Gaming is also working with Riot Games to make it an explosive event with lots of side attractions.

The first edition of Valorant Conquerors Championship

The first edition was indeed an amazing event. There were plenty of fan-idol moments and fascinating finishes. The first edition was also spread across 22 days with over 60,000 viewers at the height of the event, which is a record for regional matches in VALORANT. The grand finale saw Global Esports and Velocity Gaming compete. In the end, Global Esports won and secured a spot at the APAC Last Chance Qualifier.

Interested players and teams can begin warming up to register for the event. Players will have the opportunity to start registering for the VCC 2022 from the 6th of January 2022. To register, players can visit the official site for the VCC 2022 and fill in their information.
