There are a lot of awesome skins in Overwatch 2, but so far, none of them are fruit-themed. Meet Banana Ana, a fan-created look for the healing sniper.

A very creative Overwatch 2 player, in an attempt to one-up Blizzard and their OW2 skins division, has created a fantastic and fun custom cosmetic that transforms support sniper Ana into a banana superfan, which has Overwatch 2 players slipping on their own

At the very least, the fruity creative design posted on Reddit yesterday is sure to increase your potassium levels and may be worth the cost Blizzard would put on it if it were released. Unfortunately, this skin isn’t in the game, but it sounds like a fantastic idea.

About Ana’s skin

To be honest, it’s a giant banana costume. Fans gild how it almost wholly envelops Ana and increases her height by three feet.

The creator is an Instagram designer, Evanlya; she didn’t bother to put pretentious and fancy names to her unique fruity design. Instead, she calls the OW2 skin “Banana Ana.”

A lot of problems for Banana Ana?

While the Ana Banana Ana skin is undeniably attractive, Overwatch players have already pointed out some drawbacks.

  • Anne’s winning percentage against Wiston may decrease, as the hero usually “tends to throw it away”
  • The height of the skin would be another big problem, as it can make it difficult for players to see in the game.

However, those problems are minor, and OW2 players would gladly ignore them.

Fans of the game and now fans of this cool skin are looking forward to Evanlya’s design being available in the store. When game director Aaron Keller promised that:

“Season 3 will bring a mysterious skin the community is going to go wild for.”

All OW2 fans immediately ask for one thing, only one thing: for Banana Ana to be in the game.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that Aaron Keller is referring to that, and it is pretty unlikely, but we can cross our fingers until Blizzard developers announce the new skins.

However, the idea of joke skins appeals to Overwatch 2 players, and this aspect would be an excellent addition to next season’s anniversary event.

We have to wait to see if the game developers listen to the fans about this request, and we might see fruit skins in Overwatch 2 at some point.

We are waiting to see if other fans have additional suggestions for fun food skins.
