One of Europe’s – and the world’s – most renowned esports franchises has landed in the Land of Dawn.

Team Spirit officially announced their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang roster last March 7 to a shocker by announcing they have signed the legendary ex-Deus Vult roster.

Team Captain and breakout exp laner Mathaios “Kid Bomba” Chatzilakos, jungler Sergey “Marl” Finashev, Kemiran “Sunset Lover” Kochkarov, Pak Anton “HIKO” Igorevich and Stanislav “SAWO” Reshnyak have been announced to now bring the banner of Team Spirit to MLBB.

“We believe that these young guys will worthily represent our tag in a new discipline for the organization,” Team Spirit wrote in its welcome post.

Under Deus Vult, they were able to stun the world with their 4th place finish in the M5 World Championships – a feat that silenced many critics, won the team their own fans in Asia, and also put the world on notice that EECA (Eastern Europe and Central Asia) is highly competitive in the global pro MLBB scene.

Team Spirit is one of the world’s most renowned esports brands with teams in several major titles such as Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2.

Just recently, Team Spirit put the world on notice by winning the CS2 finals of IEM Katowice 2024. It is only one of two teams in the world to become two-time champions of Dota 2’s The International.

The team is expected to be part of the MLBB Continental Championships as well as a boost for the EECA region’s hopes of making it to the biggest MLBB esports stage in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the 2024 Mid-Season Cup or MSC which will be held at the Esports World Cup.
