One of the teams that had not made many moves in their lineup this 2023, Seoul Dynasty, decided to sign Ji-han “Ezhan” Li to play the rest of the Overwatch League 2023 season.

There is no doubt that the season is on a hiatus right now; it is the best time to review and make this kind of move. Also, with Seoul Dynasty’s elimination in the Spring Stage Knockouts Lower Bracket quarterfinals, it was very likely that the team would decide to make some changes.

Seoul Dynasty signs Ezhan for the rest of OWL 2023

After a spectacular performance at the Midseason Madness East Qualifiers playing under the banner of Dreamers, a team in the OWL Contenders division, Ezhan will get another chance to shine in the OWL after signing with Seoul Dynasty.

The organization’s official Twitter account announced Ezhan’s signing with Seoul Dynasty.

As mentioned, this will be a new opportunity for Ezhan to shine in the Overwatch League. The 19-year-old Korean player spent the 2022 season playing for Los Angeles Valiant. However, in this 2023 season, the player decided to play in the Contenders division, and there is no doubt that he has shown his great talent and level in the professional Overwatch 2 scene.

The entire Dreamers game was based around Ezhan, and he took advantage of this spotlight to get noticed and show all his qualities as a DPS. In addition, this signing is a great fit for Seoul Dynasty’s lineup, as the DPS position is one of the team’s weak points.

About Seoul Dynasty

Throughout the season, we have watched as Seoul Dynasty has tried by many means to solidify their DPS lineup, as it is their main weakness. At the beginning of the season, they had Hyun-been “Prophet” Kim, who could not prove his capabilities despite playing with Sojourn, their “best” hero in the game. With the arrival of Ezhan, the team announced that Prophet was leaving the team’s lineup.

The Seoul Dynasty has had some difficulties recently in having a solid lineup in the 2023 OWL. Before starting the Midseason Madness East Qualification, experienced DPS Junyung “Profit” Park surprised everyone by announcing his retirement from the scene. However, he returned to play some games in the tournament.

On the other hand, the Seoul Dynasty announced the addition of Seon-jun “SeonJun” Park as the team’s new DPS to play in place of Profit, who has shown great individual performance so far. Finally, with Ezhan, SeonJun, and Profit (inactive for now), Seoul Dynasty may have got a reliable DPS lineup.
