Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed Review

The hallmark of the Hammerhead Hyperspeed is its sound

We are talking about the main or the most relevant aspect of the True Wireless headset. The question is, how do the Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed sound, the truth is that they sound excellent.

It is not easy to compare it to a headset because of the bass and punch of the sound, but the truth is that with this model, users can get close to that feeling. The sound is clean and balanced, with solid bass but without rumble; best of all, it’s customizable.

The sound is picked up quite clearly thanks to the ENC technology in the microphones, which is like active noise cancellation but applied to the human voice.

As for music, the smartphone’s AAC format makes the sound clear, crisp, and nuanced. Moreover, it has a perfect balance; it doesn’t distort excessively or sound loose or too harsh.

Hammerhead Hyperspeed Microphone

On the other hand, we have the microphone; don’t expect the quality of a stand microphone from a headset of this type, which doesn’t usually stand out as the best in that field and tends to pick up more background noise than users would expect.

Touch controls

If we talk about the touch controls, we can say they are of high quality; they accurately register the keystrokes, and you will not have to repeat movements to perform the desired operation.

Battery life

The battery life of these headphones is another crucial factor. In fact, in this portable audio category, we can highlight the impressive autonomy of the Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed. In addition, the headphones provide a more than respectable duration; although, given their characteristics, it is essential to specify the duration provided in specific conditions of use:

  • With lighting and noise cancellation disabled: they offer 6.5 hours on the headphones + 26 hours on the case (4 recharges of the headphones), a total of 32.5 hours on a full charge of the case.
  • With illumination and active noise cancellation on 4 hours in the headphones + 16 hours in the case (4 recharges of the headphones). Total, 20 hours.

Best of all, the Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed can be fully charged in just a few minutes thanks to the quick-charge capability of the carrying case.
