This news comes during the summer break for all players when all tournaments at the highest competitive level come to a halt. However, neither Cloud9 nor NaVi have had a remarkable year, and both teams want to renew their squads as soon as possible.

Now, NaVi has a lot to lose if this news is confirmed, as the team would be left with only s1mple, Valerij “b1t” Vakhovsjkyj and Andrij “npl” Kukharsjkyj. However, it is worth remembering that there are many rumors that npl would be very close to leaving the team in the coming days due to his disappointing performance this season. As a result, NaVi would have to sign three top players to complete their lineup for the second half of 2023 and the transition to CS2.
