The new VCT season has not started yet, and we are already witnessing some problems in some teams in the Americas.

In this opportunity, we have Bryan “pANcada” Luna, a former world champion with LOUD and current Sentinels player, who is unhappy with his situation on the North American roster. And is that the Brazilian shared a post on his Twitter/X account, where he refers to not having enough playing time in the starting squad of his team.

This, without a doubt, can be a double-edged sword for pANcada, as the organization may decide to cut his playing time even more. However, we all know the Brazilian’s talent and great contributions to his team, so it makes the most sense for them to reach a better deal.

pANcada is not happy with his situation at Sentinels

Last November 18, pANcada shared a post on Twitter/X, where he showed a clip on Twitch where he performed an excellent play on his stream. However, what is striking is that the post says, “Pra que essa mira toda se nem jogo,” mentioning that he is at his best but does not play enough on Sentinels.

Sentinels currently has a roster of 6 VALORANT players, which is as follows:

Gustavo “Sacy” Henrique Rossi da Silva

  • Zachary “zekken” Patrone
  • Tyson “TenZ” Ngo
  • Mouhamed “johnqt” Amine
  • Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro
  • pANcada

Now, both Zellsis and pANcada play the same role; that is, they are Controllers, and even, in many cases, they have the same agent, Omen, as their main choice. This, undoubtedly, makes us think that there is currently a competition to see which of the two will be the first choice in the team.

Likewise, Zellsis can have a Flex role, playing as a Starter or Sentinel, so we could see them playing together in some Sentinel games. However, this is not the current situation in the team, as, in the exhibition games Sentinels has played in this offseason, pAncada has not had the desired playing time. Furthermore, in the games he did play, we have to say that his performance has been disappointing.

Another note is that pAncada was not part of the Sentinels lineup that played the Showmatch against the squad created by content creator Tarik “tarik” Celik. Instead, the Brazilian played with the content creator’s team.

Back to Brazil?

On the other hand, pAncada also shared his Tweet on his personal Instagram account, which makes us think that the Brazilian is unhappy with his current situation.

On the other hand, many fans and community members sympathized with pAncada, as they also claim that it is disrespectful for Sentinels not to place a superstar and former world champion in their starting roster. As a result, many theories place pAncada returning to Brazil to play in VCT 2024.

Similarly, nothing has been confirmed so far, so if there is no radical change, we will see pAncada playing with Sentinels in the VCT Americas League in 2024.
