The Danish Esports organization OG has made significant roster adjustments as Counter-Strike Esports gears up for the switch to CS2.

Starting off, only F1KU was retained by OG from the previous lineup, with Adam “NEOFRAG” Zouhar and Abdul “degster” Gasanov moving to the bench and Shahar “flameZ” Shushan leaving for Vitality following the expiration of his contract.

After trying out the Romanian player as a stand-in at IEM Dallas 2023 and CCT South Europe Series 4, OG has acquired AWPer Iulian “regali” Harjău on a permanent basis. Despite being called upon to fill in for famed sniper Degster, the young Romanian performed exceptionally and averaged a remarkable 1.21 HLTV rating in 15 maps played with OG.

With a 1.14 rating, the sniper stood out as OG’s highest-rated player at the IEM Dallas, making a lasting impression on the team and its fans, and earning him a permanent spot on OG. Meanwhile, Nemanja “nexa” Isakovi will once more handle the team’s IGL duties after sitting out for over five months. Following the IEM Katowice in February, the Serbian IGL left the active roster for personal reasons.

Fnatic rounds out the roster with K1to and FASHR

The organization has also acquired Nils “k1to” Gruhne from BIG and Dion “FASHR” Derksen from Fnatic to round out the roster. FASHR is making his way to OG after spending 11 months with Fnatic. As evident by the team’s successful deep runs at numerous prominent competitions, his presence significantly enhanced Fnatic’s performance.

The group defeated BIG to win the 2022 Elisa Masters Espoo, and they advanced to the 2022 IEM Rio Major’s playoffs, where the eventual winner Outsider eliminated them in the opening round. FASHR and the squad reached the Blast Paris Major after winning the European RMR, but their trip was cut short when Into The Breach defeated them in a crucial game.

The last member of OG’s new lineup, k1to, joins his new team after over three years with BIG. The 24-year-old had a 0.99 rating with the team during the course of his three years with the squad. Although BIG qualified for a handful of S-tier competitions, including two CS:GO Majors and several BLAST tournaments, the team’s biggest achievements during his tenure were winning Funspark ULTI 2020 and Roobet Cup.

OG’s revamped Counter Strike roster:

Maciej “F1KU” Miklas
Nemanja “nexa” Isaković
Iulian “regali” Harjău
Nils “k1to” Gruhne
Dion “FASHR” Derksen
Abdul “degster” Gasanov (benched)
Adam “NEOFRAG” Zouhar (benched)
