New Sentinels VALORANT line-up confirmed

The new Sentinels line-up for the VCT Americas League is now confirmed! After the announcement of the return of Tyson “TenZ” Ngo in the last few hours, the organization has revealed what will be its squad for the rest of the tournament.

As had been presumed, the player sacrificed in the return of TenZ in Sentinels is Rory “dephh” Jackson; as it is known, the player was sent to the organization’s bench. So now, the team has a strong line-up that will fight until the end to get their spot for the tournament playoffs.

As we mentioned, the return of TenZ to the team’s starting line-up would only mean that one player (other than Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen) would be sacrificed. Now, all indications are that the team’s IGL, dephh, is benched to make room for the Sentinels star.

Let’s remember that TenZ took a “rest” of some weeks because the player was diagnosed with COVID-19 and injured one of his fingers. The team’s new coach, Adam “Kaplan” Kaplan, said Marved would take his place in the line-up. After some great performances, Sentinels announced that Marved would have his place in the line-up for the remainder of the season. As a result, and with the return of TenZ, all signs point to dephh being benched or he has left the organization.

Sentinels disappoint so far

Before the start of the VCT Americas League, Sentinels was one of the strongest teams in the league. In addition, the fact that they signed Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi and Bryan “pANcada” Luna, who had just won the VALORANT Champions 2022 with LOUD, increased the organization’s expectations.

However, the team has not performed well in this VCT Americas 2023; since entering the sixth week of the tournament, they have only achieved two victories. In addition, the team has changed roles in the roster and even in the coach. But none of this has worked.

With the arrival of TenZ to the line-up, it seems that the team has an ace up its sleeve, as they will bring together two exceptional players like TenZ and Marved in the quest for a miracle to qualify for the playoffs.

New Sentinels IGL

Dephh was the team’s IGL until now, so it is unclear who will take over the team. However, the experience of all the players that make up this Sentinels squad means that any of them could have the ability to lead the team.

Sentinels have only one chance to qualify for the playoffs or at least to prove that the team is made for great things. The team will have to face KRÜ Esports and FURIA Esports in the last two games of the tournament and, in addition, hope for other results to happen to dream of qualifying.
