There is no doubt that this news was expected, as many fans of the team and the league generally expected the return of one of the best VALORANT players in NA. However, this news has come with a completely unexpected twist, as it will not replace Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, as we might have presumed.

Sentinels will have two great players playing together in the last two games of the VCT Americas League to try to punch their ticket to the playoffs.

Sentinels announce the return of TenZ to starting lineup

As they have become accustomed to in recent times, Sentinels announced the return of TenZ to the team’s starting lineup through a video on their official social networks. This move comes on the eve of the last week of the VCT Americas League regular season.

As we noted, in an “announcement” that was to be made by the team’s head coach, Adam “Kaplan” Kaplan, TenZ interrupted the recording by saying, “I’m back.”. Now, the question on everyone’s mind is who will be sacrificed from the team, as for many, Marved has given Sentinels a new identity.

However, according to reports from esports journalist George Geddes, the one selected would be Rory “dephh” Jackson. According to Geddes’ reports, the player and the organization have reportedly decided to part ways after TenZ’s return to the team.

New change for Sentinels in the VCT Americas League

There is no doubt that this is a change of course for this team in the VCT Americas League. Recall that two weeks ago, the organization announced that Marved would stay permanently in the team’s lineup and take TenZ’s place.

Marved has shown great play since he was included in the Sentinel’s starting lineup. While the team has not managed to win every game, the level of play has increased significantly. On the other hand, this is nothing more than a ratification that Sentinels gave TenZ some time to recover from COVID and the injury to one of his fingers.

Since Marved has been on the team, Sentinels won outright against MIBR but was crushed 0-2 against C9 and EG.
