Sacy and Pancada complete Sentinels roster, cNed to NaVi, Sayf to Liquid

Sentinels are adding two world champions to their roster, as the EMEA rosters continue to shuffle talent.

With less than a week remaining until the October 15 deadline, where teams must come forth with a soft roster lock, Valorant free agency is still in full force. While most of the North American teams have locked up their starting five and are looking for a substitute, Sentinels are still in the market.

Sentinels add Sacy and Pancada

The Sentinels rebuild seems to be going in a nice direction, after missing out on the hottest free agents. The organization took its time to find a suitable coach who would then go on to build a winning roster. Just days after former XSET coach SykoNN brought in his protegees, Zekken and Dephh,  from the former XSET roster, Sentinels are getting another package. Sacy and Pancada, the Initiator and Controller players from 2022 Valorant Champions winners LOUD, are joining the Sentinels roster.

With four of the six roster slots filled, the future of TeNz remains in the air. Dapr already announced that Sentinels have offered him the substitute role but Sentinels are still looking for an Operator player. With reports swirling that TeNz is out of Sentinels, is it worth losing the branding over someone like Dicey or Tex? Those two are the best-performing Chamber players from Stage 2 still on the market but are they worthy of the 30 roster spots available?

cNed to NaVi, Sayf to Team Liquid

While the Americas are still deciding on their sniper players, the EMEA is looking to lock them up! With reports coming out that Ardiis is replacing Yay on the OpTic roster that is now under NRG, NaVi are adding cNed to the FPX roster under their control. The Turkish superstar was the best Valorant player in Europe in 2021 and led his team Ascend to the Valorant Champions title that same year. Two of the top three teams from 2022 are now under new banners with new Sniper players, but the rivalry should persist.

Team Liquid is looking to be a dominant force heading into 2023, with the addition of Sayf, replacing the assumed departure of headshot machine Scream. With Nats and Redgar alongside him, joining the incumbent Jammpi and Soulcas, it seems that Dimasick might be on his way out.

Koldamenta and Sheydos highlight KOI roster

KOI got franchised in Valorant and acquired an LEC slot for next year, but the big-time moves didn’t stop.  Starxo and Koldamenta, former teammates of cNed on Ascend, are joining the Spanish organization. KOI continue hoarding Europe’s top talent as reports are coming that former Gambit member, Sheydos, will be joining them as well.

Under the watchful eye of coach Barbarr, KOI should be a force to be reckoned with next year. While trialing in Europe’s tier two scene continues, it looks like Mixwell won’t be the sniper player joining KOI. The entire G2 roster of 2022 remains unsigned which is a bit puzzling, considering at least two of their players deserve a roster spot at the highest level.

Melser and Xand join KRU Esports

The best team from the LATAM region continues to make moves as they prepare for the 2023 VCT season. Taking Melser away from their arch rivals Leviathan can be counted as a win by itself, never mind the upgrade that he represents. He is joined by Xand, as they enter a KRU roster that already contains Nagz and Klaus.
