Epic Games strives to keep Fortnite entertaining and fresh; thanks to that work, Fortnite is one of the most famous battle royale games on the market. In addition, the developers are always looking for new ways to play games; for example, last year, they introduced the popular Zero Build.
According to leaks, Epic Games plans to do it again this year. In addition, rumors indicate that the long-awaited first-person mode of the game will arrive very soon.
First-person game mode
Fortnite’s two most well-known data miners, HYPEX and ShiinaBR, claimed on Twitter that first-person gameplay would be available at the start of the new season. This comes after months of leaks about the potential of the mechanics, around the same time dirtbikes were leaked, so the timing of the release is consistent with what was previously discovered in the archives.
There have been discussions for months in the community about how this new feature could alter the way many views Fortnite. Arguably, it will be much more comparable to some of the other popular battle royales. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to experience the point of view while playing as their favorite skins, which is sure to be a great incentive for players with favorite concepts.
Fortnite's First Person mode is finally coming in NEXT SEASON 🔥
The same reliable source confirmed it to me & @ShiinaBR, and now @GMatrixGames & @iFireMonkey got confirmation from their side too. pic.twitter.com/SASj2E6TRS

The two data miners claim that the leak comes from the same source that revealed numerous other leaks the previous week, including information on the latest Resident Evil and Attack on Titan collaborations. Although these leaks have not been verified, both leakers place a lot of importance on them because they have rarely been wrong with the data they have brought to light.
If this leak is accurate, it would be an addition to the game that has been much discussed for more than five years after its initial release. If true, it would give players a whole new way to experience Fortnite, and many would likely join the game to try it for the first time.
Details about the new season
Start date
Chapter 4, Season 2, is scheduled for Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Epic Games confirmed the date, meaning the season will start two days earlier than anticipated.
Before its arrival, it is presumed that a maintenance period will allow developers to make the necessary preparations.
We do not know if the maintenance will start a day earlier or the same day, so we will have to wait for more information.
New skins and cosmetics
As usual, the season will introduce a new battle pass full of new cosmetics. Leakers HYPEX and ShiinaBr shared the following images of skins that will be part of the pass:

On the other hand, there will be certain weapons like the sliding shotgun or the commando assault rifle that will be added back to the game’s loot; but they will have a different form.
