The joy was short-lived for the European organization GamerLegion and their foray into the female Counter-Strike scene. Now, after only 3 days since announcing the signing of the former Let Her Cook lineup, the team is left with only 3 players, as Luna “ManeschijnX” Akkermans also decided to leave the team.
According to the player herself, she made this decision due to “recent events” and “some investigations” that are currently ongoing. Furthermore, this means that the GamerLegion Prism team has only 3 players in their lineup, and they are due to play their third ESL Impact League European Division match in the coming hours.
ManeschijnX announces she is leaving the GamerLegion Prism line-up
Through a post on his personal Twitter account, ManeschijnX announced that he is leaving the GamerLegion Prism lineup due to ongoing “investigations.”
Regarding allegations, I want to inform everyone that I have made the decision to part ways with GamerLegion due to the recent events. I want to thank them for the opportunity they have given me and their constant support throughout this situation.

Everything indicates that the 22-year-old Dutchwoman is linked to several accounts that have been banned (from different aliases) for using a cheat in the game. As a result, both ESL and FACEIT are currently investigating her.
I’m currently working with ESL and Faceit in their ongoing investigation, and will share more details along the way.

On the other hand, let’s remember that ManeschijnX played and won the IESF Women’s World Championship 2023, playing under the flag of her home country, the Netherlands, almost 4 weeks ago. In addition, it is also worth mentioning that she was part of the Astralis W lineup for 3 months.
A new blow for GamerLegion Prism
There is no doubt that ManeschijnX’s departure from the GL Prism lineup is a tough new blow for the organization, as they recently announced the departure of Chloe “KittyTM” Geaney due to racist comment issues in the game.

This GL Prism lineup, which previously played under the name Let Her Cook, was announced late last week, and, at the moment, they only have 3 players in their starting lineup. Also, as we mentioned, this Thursday, they will play against NaVi Javelins in the Group Stage of the ESL Impact League S4 European Division.
We will watch for more information regarding the players GL Prism must sign to play the ESL Impact League S4 matches.
