LEC Winter Split: Astralis surprises and eliminates Team BDS

Saturday’s matches in the LEC Winter Split 2023 are over, to give way to the decisive matches on Sunday, February 19. After eliminating Team Heretics, the LEC already knows its second elimination of this Group Stage.

After causing a wonderful surprise in the regular phase of the LEC Winter Split, Team BDS now accompanies Team Heretics on the plane home. The team must now focus all its forces on the Spring Split starting next month.

Astralis surprises and eliminates Team BDS

As we mentioned, Astralis, with an incredible and surprising game, managed to take the match last Saturday, February 18, against Team BDS with a score of 2-1. With this, they earned their place in this Sunday’s decisive match against MAD Lions. The Danish organization wins the series and puts an end to the BDS team in this winter split.

There is no doubt that Team DBS did not do their homework in this match against Astralis; therefore, they were eliminated from the Winter Split 2023. On the other hand, on the part of Astralis, we have Doğukan “113” Balcı deployed his best level to upset this Split and take the victory.

Astralis stops the surprise of this Split

The Danish team got tired of being overlooked by the prevalent environment, as they destroyed Team BDS, the team that had been the surprise of this Split.

Astralis had an impeccable reading of this match, as nobody expected them to play at such a high level and be able to take the victory. Led by 113 and a collective performance of the whole team, the Danish team dresses up to look for their qualification to the semifinals against MAD Lions. The debutant Turkish jungler took the brave step and charged his team’s needs like a true expert.

Team BDS came inspired and very strong, but Astralis took the exact measurements and could stop them in every attack. Although the first map was not good for Astralis, they recovered with the awakening of Ilias “nuc” Bizriken with Kassadin. Astralis blindly trusted their game and punished the French star of BDS, Adam Maanane. The Frenchman was wholly nullified by the Danes and could not play his best game.

113 puts an end to Team BDS’s aspirations

Finally, the Turkish 113 ended the dreams of Team BDS, who were favorites to be in the next phase of this Split. However, there is no doubt that the jungler led the Danish team to victory, and now the team is just one win away from advancing to the playoffs of the LEC Winter Split 2023.
