The Immortals have rounded out their roster for the upcoming 2024 LCS season by acquiring two South Korean players and adding a jungler. The recently confirmed additions are Cho “Castle” Hyeon-seong, Jonathan Armao, Lee “Mask” Sang-hun and Kim “Olleh” Joo-sung. These players will join Edward “Tactical” Ra, the only remaining player from Immortals’ 2023 lineup after the LCS Summer Split.

The talented Korean youngster Castle has played for KT Rolster Challengers since 2020 and will now embark on his first international engagement.

Immortals add four new players to LoL lineup

Mask is another import player from Korea, who recently won the PRM Pokal 2023 main event in Germany with Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition. He was previously a trainee with top teams such as T1 and KT.

Armao, who found his way to the team after joining from Evil Geniuses, will take over the position of jungler for Immortals. With nearly a decade of experience in the North American League of Legends scene, including Team Liquid and Dignitas, he brings a wealth of experience to the table.

Tactical remains with Immortals as a bot laner and is supported by Olleh, who is a recognized force in the professional League segment. Olleh began his career with KT Rolster in 2013 and has been a major figure in the LCS since his arrival at Immortals in 2017. He took a break this year and is now ready to resume his involvement.

New hope for the Immortals

The new Immortals lineup, bolstered by experienced and new talent, is set to bring a breath of fresh air to the team after not appearing on the international stage since 2017.Their best result since then was a fifth place finish in 2021. With the league now consisting of eight teams, the lineup is looking forward to 2024 with confidence, perhaps this will finally be the season of their big breakthrough.

The addition of the players from the Korean Challengers Series is aimed at improving the strategic and playing quality of Immortals. With their expertise and experience in the game, the team hopes to improve their performance and have a stronger presence, especially in the international tournaments.

The Immortals’ tactics with their revamped squad for 2024 are designed to optimize team dynamics and synergy. The new players bring different playing styles and perspectives, and the organization hopes that the team will play better than ever next year and not only match, but exceed their past successes.
