The Overwatch League 2023 is just around the corner, and the different teams continue to tune all the details fine to finish sealing their lineups and have a great season.

One of the teams called to be a revelation for this season and had the great year 2022, Hangzhou Spark, has made some moves in this preseason. While Hangzhou finished in the TOP 4 in the Grand Finals Brackets of the 2022 season, they were not 100% happy with the lineup.

Hangzhou Spark signs Twenty and Leave for the new OWL season.

Earlier in the season, Hangzhou Spark decided to release most of their Overwatch 2 roster. The only survivors were Zheng “Shy” Yangjie and Qiulin “Guxue” Xu.

According to the organization, Spark was in dire need of a change of scenery and new faces in the lineup, so on March 6, they announced the addition of two new players. Wenjie “Twenty” Luo and Xin “Leave” Huang will join Hangzhou Spark for the 2023 OWL season.

About Twenty

While fans may not recognize Twenty’s name, he previously played in the OWL under the nickname “Elsa”. Twenty, or Elsa as he called himself at the time, played under the banner of Chengdu Hunters, a team he played for three seasons. However, the player decided to take a break from the competitive scene in Overwtach in 2022 and now comes back with recharged batteries to give his all for Spark.

Twenty was one of the Hunters’ key players throughout his time with the team and generally excelled at playing in the off-tank role. However, with his entry to the Spark, the player wants to prove that he still has wood left to compete at the highest level of the Overwatch 2 competitive scene. In addition, he will be sitting behind the team’s star tank, Xu “guxue” Qiulin.

About Leave

Now, while fans may be somewhat confused about the new name for en Twenty, there’s another one they’ll never really be able to forget. Leave decides to end his stint with the Hunters to play OWL 2023 under the Spark banner. The former league MVP will team up with Zheng “shy” Yangjie to form one of the best DPS duos in the entire league.

Since he was just a rookie in the league, Leave carried the full weight of the Hunters, leading them to victory in all the tough times the team went through. For 2023, he hopes to have a competitive team on his side again to help him win an MVP award.
