Dota 2 patch 7.34b nerfed some of the broken heroes created by Dota 2 patch 7.34. But it also buffed a high number of heroes in an attempt to make them more attractive to players.

In most cases, the buffs aren’t major, but they’re good enough to significantly increase the hero’s win rate and pick rate.

The most significant hero buffs

Marci used to be absolutely terrifying. Then she disappeared completely from the meta. Now she might make a comeback. Dota 2 patch 7.34b buffed her ultimate. Unleash now deals 4/5/6 strikes per Fury instead of 3/4/5. That’s very significant, even though Marci is rarely used as a heavy damage-dealer.

Meepo’s Earthbind travels at 1000 MS instead of 900.

Mirana’s level 20 and level 25 talents got buffed a little bit. From 35 to 45 damage, and from 200 Starstorm damage to 250.

Monkey King’s Primal Spring now has a better cooldown, improved by 2 seconds for every level. Furthermore, Mischief no longer limits his movement speed. Quite the contrary, it gives him +10% MS.

Morphling’s strength gain per level is now 3.2 instead of 3.

Omniknight’s Repel can now be cast every 36s at level 4. That’s a 9s reduction, which is a 20% cooldown improvement.

Pangolier’s strength gain is now 2.7 per level instead of 2.5. Shield Crash costs 60-90 mana instead of 70-100.

Rubick’s Telekinesis received important buffs. The impact radius is now 375 instead of 325 and the level 15 talent gives it +0.4 lift/stun duration.

Techies’ Blast Off! Now stuns for 1.4s instead of 1.25s.

Treant Protector’s Leech Seed now heals for 25-70 and deals the same amount of damage. That’s a 5-unit improvement at every level.

Vengeful Spirit’s Magic Missle stuns for 1.7s instead of 1.4s.

Winter Wyvern’s Splinter Blast now costs just 135 mana at level 4 (instead of 150) and has a cooldown of 6s instead of 7s.

Snapfire’s level 10 talent now gives an HP restore of 175 instead of 125.

Mars’ Arena of Blood now deals 80-240 damage per spear instead of 75-225.

Magnus received some of the best buffs in Dota 2 patch 7.34b. Aghanim’s Shard gives him a damage multiplier on return of 75% instead of 50%. And Empower’s bonus damage and cleave damage was also improved: 12%-36% to 16-40%, and 10-40% to 16%-40%.

Lina’s Dragon Slave now has a burn duration of 3s instead of 2. Her level 10 and level 15 talents were also buffed by around 25%.
