Everything that has been discussed commented, and rumored in the last hours seems very close to materializing. According to different reports in the last few hours, FalleN chose FURIA Esports, and the organization would negotiate the transfer of the Brazilian legend with Imperial Esports.

There is no doubt that if this signing of FalleN by FURIA is confirmed in the next few hours, we will have a compact and high-level team. However, let’s remember that the demands of the Brazilian IGL and AWPer are clear, as he has stated on several occasions that for a team to be successful in top-level tournaments, they must move, move and live in Europe.

Now, everything is in FURIA’s hands if they move the team to the old continent to meet FalleN’s demands and better prepare for top-level competitive tournaments.

FalleN would have chosen FURIA as a new team

According to a report published by Dust2.br, Brazilian legend and one of the best AWPers and IGLs in the CS:GO scene, FalleN, would have chosen FURIA Esports as his next destination.

In recent weeks, it was reported that FalleN and FURIA had been in talks for the Brazilian legend to join the team ahead of the transition to CS2. However, these rumors were not confirmed until FURIA’s co-owner Andre Akkari confirmed it in a broadcast. Everything indicates that FalleN accepted the terms, and FURIA is in talks with Imperial about the possible player transfer.

On the other hand, the report published by Dust2.br also highlights that FURIA already made an offer to Imperial Esports. However, this offer seems to be nowhere near the Brazilian legend’s termination clause with Imperial. In addition, it is also noted that the amount of money offered by FURIA is much less than what Imperial paid to Team Liquid for the transfer of FalleN at the time.

As we have mentioned in different opportunities, this report comes at a time when Brazilian teams are making a renewal in their lineups. FalleN, the best Brazilian IGL in the CS:GO competitive scene, is the most coveted, although the 32-year-old plans to retire at the end of the 2023 season. In addition to FURIA, FalleN also had eye-catching offers from paiN Gaming and Imperial Esports.

Renewal at FURIA

Currently, FURIA has only four players in the team’s starting lineup, as let’s remember that a few days ago, they sent André “drop” Abreu to the bench. On the other hand, if this signing of FalleN with FURIA is confirmed, there is no doubt that Rafael “saffee” Costa, current AWPer of the Brazilian organization, will be the one to be sacrificed.

FURIA needs a renewal in its CS:GO lineup, as the team’s first semester at the top competitive level is disappointing. The team failed to win a single championship title, with the only highlight being the first place in the RMR Americas for the Paris Major. In addition, FURIA fell in the quarterfinals of IEM Rio and finished in 15th-16th place at the Paris Major after losing to Monte Esports, NiP, and G2 Esports.

Finally, FURIA still has time to put together its lineup for the second half of the 2023 season, as the team will not play the BLAST Premier Fall Groups. Its next official presentation will be at the IEM Cologne 2023 Play-In Phase, played between July 25-26, 2023.
