Pokémon and Fortnite collaboration?

Considered one of the giant anime and video game franchises, Pokémon inspires many young people to pursue their dream as Ash Ketchum did. Finally, after becoming a Pokémon champion, the anime’s protagonist prepares to say goodbye to fans. Meanwhile, some have thought it would be a good idea for him to go to Fortnite.

Fortnite, thanks to its latest collaborations, has set some fans dreaming that they want their favorite series to be present in the famous battle royale game. After all, it is not uncommon for the developers’ imagination to run wild, making fantasy crossovers.

On YouTube and Twitter platforms, this concept began circulating on January 8. Many fans are wondering if, the beloved Ash character would make a stop in Fortnite before retiring.

Will Pokémon come to Fortnite?

It is important to note that this is not official news. The rumors of the collaboration arose after the appearance of a video made by FeraalsVFX on YouTube. This video shows the concept of collaboration, where Peely appears driving a dirt bike while being chased by his enemies; before he can see them, Ash Ketchum and Pikachu block his path.

Ash Ketchum is the one who eliminates his rivals by throwing his incredible Charizard into the fight. After a roar, the screen goes black, and Pikachu calls before the video ends.

We must highlight the impeccable work done by Feraals. His video is very well done and has a remarkable resemblance to what Epic Games would show. The job of recreating Ash Ketchum inside Fortnite was impeccable, and no wonder some fans thought it was real.

This fantasy will remain a dream until Nintendo lends its most famous characters to third parties for collaborations that have nothing to do with the original material of each nature. So, we can only wait to see if this dream becomes a reality.

How would Pokémon fit into Fortnite?

First of all, we should remember that Fortnite collaborations are characterized by a regular arrival of a bunch of new skins to the in-game store. Some of them feature mechanics focused on representing the guest franchise.

Therefore, we think this collaboration would look amazing if the following items are introduced in Fornite:

• A skin of Ash, Misty, and Brooks.
• A skin of each member of the Original Team Rocket
• A mechanic that consists of being able to find a Pokéball on the map and, from it, a random Pokémon would come out.
• These could accompany us in the game, as happens when we hire an NPC to follow us in a shootout.
