Their only loss was a 0-2 setback to NAVI Javelins, who ultimately won the group. In the third-place match of the European division, 9 Pandas Fearless defeated BIG EQUIPA 2-0 to punch their ticket to the ESL Impact Season 3.
North American Division
Ex-CLG Red topped Group A of the ESL S3 North American Division after going undefeated in the group stage with a 6-0 record. They easily overcame EG Gold in the qualifying round, winning Ancient 16-11 before storming to a 16-4 victory on their own pick of Overpass to go to the Impact final.

Meanwhile, Shimmer finished Group A with a 4-2 record after defeating Saints and Byte twice while losing both games against ex-CLG Red. They were matched up in the Play-In round against Detonate SparX, the team that had topped Group B. Despite struggling in the opening round of the qualifying match, Shimmer reverse-swept the series 2-1 to advance to the Impact Finals.
Asian Qualifiers
After beating Lynn Vision Gaming Female in the Asian Qualifier, HSG became the sixth team to qualify for the $123,000 Impact League LAN finals. For most of their qualifying match against LVG Female, HSG maintained a substantial advantage.
They started the game going with an outstanding 11-5 CT-side performance on Ancient, and they went on to convincingly take the opening map 16-11. After that, HSG put up another 11-round T-side on Inferno en route to a straightforward 16-10 victory to take the series 2-0 series. There are now just three spots left for the Impact League LAN finals, which will be filled by the South American league’s Play-In match winners.
