Everything about IEM Rio Viewer Pass, stickers & tokens

Less than two weeks before the start of the prestigious CS:GO event IEM Rio Major, Valve officially unveiled and released the IEM Rio CS:GO Major Viewer Pass for sale, team and player autograph stickers.

A total of 50% of the proceeds from the purchase of the IEM Rio Viewer Pass will go directly into support of the players, teams, and organizations attending the Major in Rio de Janeiro. Players can buy the viewer pass alone for €10 or purchase the Viewer Pass together with three souvenir tokens for €18.

Souvenir-Token

The souvenir tokens can be redeemed for a souvenir pack containing a game of your choice from any stage of the IEM Rio Major. The souvenirs contain gold stickers with the teams and the map of the selected game. The weapon and accompanying skin itself are from the collection based on the map being played.

Moreover, players who own and activate the Viewer Pass will receive the Rio 2022 Event Coins, which can be upgraded by playing the Pick’Em Challenge. If you correctly guess which teams will advance in each stage, including the playoffs, you can upgrade your coin to silver, then gold, and diamond. If you complete three challenges you will get silver, gold for six, and diamond for all nine.

Stickers

In addition to collecting coins and taking part in the Pick ‘Em Challenge, players can now buy stickers. There are six capsules available for purchase at €1 each: a player autograph capsule with the player autograph sticker of any player from the Legends, Challenger or Contender group and a team capsule with any team’s logo, which competes in the groups mentioned.

Rio Major schedule

The IEM Rio Major starts on Monday, October 31, and runs until Sunday, November 13. A total of 24 CS:GO teams from all over the world will compete for the prize pool of $1,250,000 alongside fame and glory and rights to call themselves the best team in CS:GO. 

The Challengers Stage of the event will be held at the Riocentro Arena from October 31 to November 3, while Legends will be played at the same venue from November 5 to 8. The final, Champions Stage will take place at the Jeunesse Arena from November 10-13. As always, we will keep you up to date with the Major and report daily on the matches.
