The developers of CoD Mobile, Activision, announced their partnership with ESL Faceit Group to organize the 2023 and 2024 seasons of the mobile title. The agreement between these two major companies is based on two major events per season, the World Championship and the Snapdragon Mobile Masters.

There is no doubt that this announcement is great news for both fans and professional CoD Mobile players. The fact that Activision is partnering with a giant like ESL Faceit Group and they are organizing the events alongside one of the largest esports providers for mobile devices is a cause for celebration.

Activision and ESL team up to host CoD Mobile Snapdragon Pro Series

Activision and ESL announced the new Snapdragon Pro Series CoD Mobile tournament series through an official statement via their respective Twitter accounts.

While it’s true that the agreement is for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, we have specific details about what’s to come in this current year. In the 2023 season, the Snapdragon Pro Series CoD Mobile has a prize pool of $1,500,000. This prize pool will be distributed between the COD Mobile World Championship and the Snapdragon Mobile Masters.

The good news doesn’t end there! The Snapdragon Pro Series will start this April 2023. Although the tournament series has just been announced, there is already much information regarding how it will work.

On the other hand, it is worth noting that the same events will continue to be held regularly throughout the season. However, everything will now be up to Snapdragon, and, of course, they will be part of the newly announced tournament series.

The agreement opens the door to all CoD Mobile players

In addition to focusing on the professional CoD Mobile competitive scene, this 2-year agreement between Activision and ESL with the Snapdragon Pro series will also grant opportunities for amateur players to reach the highest competitive level.

The events that we have normally observed at a high level will continue. However, lower-level tournaments will also be organized to give talented amateur players a chance to make it to the top. One of the missions of this agreement is that the best amateur players can participate in tournaments at the highest level against professional players.

Snapdragon Pro Series CoD Mobile – Schedule, Prizes, and More

As mentioned, the Snapdragon Pro Series CoD Mobile will start very soon, specifically next April 27, 2023.

The Europe, North America, Latin America, India, and Japan regions will start with online qualifiers where any team can participate. They will compete in their respective regions and fight to qualify for the next phase of the CoD Mobile competitive scene.

The top-performing teams will qualify for the main event: the Snapdragon Pro Series CoD Mobile Open and Mobile Challenges. These two events are completely new to the calendar, but they will replace what we knew as phases 3 and 4 of the previous CoD Mobile esports seasons.

The Open and Mobile Challenges will have prize pools of over $300,000 in each region that make up the circuit. After six months of intense battles, the world’s top 16 teams will play the finals in a fully LAN environment event. Finally, the prize pool for the COD Mobile World Championship will be $1,000,000.

Snapdragon Mobile Masters

The Snapdragon Mobile Masters starts its way with the open qualifiers next October, where we will have a taste of what will be the main event.
