BetBoom Dacha favorites

BetBoom Dacha is scheduled to start on December 5 and will last until December 10. This $300.000 CS2 event brings together eight of the world’s best teams and has them competing in front of an audience in Dubai.

In light of what we saw last week, some of the teams that would not have made anyone’s favorites list should be included on this list. Cloud9 and Astralis were the big favorites a week ago, and they still are. But FURIA Esports and Virtus.pro are likely to cause trouble.

In FURIA’s case, we saw what they were able to do at Elisa Masters Espoo just a few days ago. They defeated Complexity, MOUZ, and Apeks on their way to lifting the trophy.

Of course, they will probably be a bit tired and emotionally drained after such an event. Not to mention the fact that they will need to fly from Finland to Dubai. But they’re still one of the favorites there.

The competitive format of BetBoom Dacha is similar to that of Elisa Masters Espoo. The eight participants are divided into two groups of four and the best two teams from each group advance to the playoffs. For FURIA Esports, this means that they will have to best either Astralis or Virtus.pro.

They’re much more likely to beat Virtus.pro, but they could potentially defeat Astralis as well. After all, the Danish team just recently changed their roster, bringing in two new players: stavn and jabbi. The only problem is that these players are exceptionally strong, which might compensate for the roster’s lack of cohesion.

Group A favorites

In group A of BetBoom Dacha, Cloud9 will almost certainly qualify for the playoffs. But who will join them? GamerLegion, BetBoom Team, or MIBR? The favorite of these three teams seems to be GamerLegion, who recently signed Snax as their new IGL.

For those who have been watching Counter-Strike events, Snax needs no introduction. Back in 2015 – 2017, he was one of the world’s best players.

Group B favorites

In group B of BetBoom Dacha, the first two matches will be Astralis vs. Virtus.pro, and FURIA vs. Team Spirit. This gives FURIA a big advantage. If they can win this match, they will have two opportunities to qualify for the playoffs.

The favorites seem to be Astralis and FURIA. But all three teams mentioned above have the potential to qualify. The only competitor that’s doomed from the start is Team Spirit.
